I recently visited the development at Skelton Lake and Lewis was fabulous! We went in very open minded as we just wanted to see what was available and what we might want. Lewis really took his time and explained to us the different options and how they varied from one another. He also showed us as many styles as he could to help us picture things a bit better.He made the experience very pleasant with his amazing customer service and left us walking away feeling excited about the possibilities ahead.

He was very knowledgeable about the site and local area which was super helpful as people who aren't from the local area. He was everything you would expect from someone when making such a big purchase as a new house.

Recently I've had urgent issues with plumbing and a door not locking, Avant did an excellent job especially Shelby, in getting technicians out immediately to resolve the issues. The locksmith came out Sunday as soon as I reported the issue, Matthew the locksmith also did an excellent job.

TrustpilotIgnored over damage claim
Because of incorrect road markings/signage, my wife had a car accident near the Avant Homes Ambretone Park development. The Council informed us the road was under Avant’s responsibility so we contacted Avant to claim back the cost of damage to our car. After an initial email response there has been no further contact despite repeated emails and phone calls. They seem to be ignoring me hoping I’ll drop the claim.

We are possibly not far ahead enough with our sale at this stage, but will keep in touch about other plots we looked at (Plot 242?) near the green space. Just a small note to say; We haven’t purchased a house as of yet but have dropped in on Lewis at his sales office multiple impromptu times. And have always been pleasantly and patiently received by Lewis. He’s not pushy & has understood our bespoke circumstances with umming and ahhhing. (we have previously purchased a house that Lewis oversaw and rereading those emails 100% responsible, thorough & courteous) We have recommended Greenlock Place to friends & neighbours. We have our fingers crossed with our current house sale and the plot we would like to reserve is all within budget we welcome working with Lewis going forward to getting a new home. We believe Lewis to be honest and set real expectations. Thankyou Amy & Dave

Where do I start So snagging report 164 issues 5 months later 40 still outstanding I have sorted 50 myself So new house it’s a shell full of inexpensive items sockets and light. Switches cheapest on the market Even back boxes do inferior Kitchen last about 4 years if your lucky Skirting and door mouldings inferior Brickwork so poor Design inside no thought at allActual quality of workmanship where do I start It’s a disgrace it’s all about thecbottom line for house builders No pride in the product they are selling and aftercare is Well over promise and under deliver as opposed to under promise and over deliver I am so disappointed in the 400k house I have bought I have spent over 60 k on putting it right Seriously thinking of duing AVANT homes for selling me a parcel of S. tNo

TrustpilotNon existent support beyond first NHBC survey is complete
Initially when buying the property we had a really good experience- although very rushed process on the side of Avant with pressure to complete purchase in an unrealistic (4 weeks) time period. Other than this we were satisfied. Since being in the property and apparent changes to the staff team trying to arrange repairs for snagging or issues with the property has been very very poor (non existent). We are unable to get any clarity on when repairs will be carried out and no progress has been made on the vast majority of these repairs over a 10 month period.

Lynsey was very nice. Showed us around the home. They house is built to a high spec. Unfortunately for me it's about 50 minutes away so it will not work with my commitments. Would love to live there though.

We have been in our new home for just one week and WOW, what a stress free AND personal service we have received from all involved from start to finish.Peter, the sales representative is full of knowledge, knows his role inside out and goes above and beyond in every single way. He is friendly, approachable and we could not recommend him enough. Peter truly is an asset to Avant and his hard work deserves recognition and praise. Thank you so much Peter.Gary, the site manager along with Paul and the rest of the team worked so hard to get our house completed within our goal timeframe. We have seen the incredible work they undertake which is to an exceptional standard. Gary and Paul are approachable and readily available to tend to anything that pops up. Lynsey, our go to for customer services is efficient, kind and available if and when needed. Moving house can be a difficult time, and I have no doubt ours would have been that if not for this incredible team who truly place customers at the core of their service. We are overjoyed with our new family home, and cannot recommend Avant - Brompton Mews enough. Thank you.

We moved into our property in December 2023 and were looked after by Lyndsey from customer services and Gary our site manager, from the date of completion. We had a few very minor snags that were rectified quickly and efficiently, nothing was too much trouble and the communication from them was (and still is) excellent. We are very grateful to them for our lovely new home. Thank you Lyndsey and Gary for your help and support!
