TrustpilotProceed with caution with an Avant home
Sales staff are shambolic and incompetent. Ended up suicidal because of their mind games. Should have sacrificed the reservation fee at that point.

I would like to recognise Cheryl & Chloe at your Jackton Green Development for their excellent customer service. I believe building a customer relationship is important, and both Cheryl & Chloe have demonstrated this throughout my interactions with their professional knowledge and friendly approach. I had a fantastic experience from the time i booked an appointment to inquire a property until reservation at Foxgrove Village thru the help of Keiran Wilmot. Keiran has always been accomodating and wonderful all through out the process. He would explain everything and would answer every concern and queries we have. We are so grateful for his help and advices so our purchase would be so simple as possible. He always made us feel comfortable in every conversation we had with him. Looking forward for more meetings as we take this journey in buying our property.

TrustpilotBest ever
Best ever. Seely fields, Can’t recommend Louise and ruby enough. They help above and beyond. They do everything to make you feel comfortable and the sale to go well. You have to remember that there is many people involved in buying a new house and not sweat the small things. It’s very stressful buying a house and Louise and Ruby make it a lot less stressful. I would not hesitate to show my house to people to view before you purchase, we love our new home. Also a big shoutout to all the builders on site as they are great and the best and couldn’t help enough. They do build it. lol. Cheers keith & Michelle

TrustpilotExcellent service from Laura at Hay Green Park
We recently bought an Avant property at Hay Green Park, Birdwell. Laura, Avant’s Sales Representative, was really supportive throughout the whole process. We first looked round at the end of October and moved in to the house before Christmas. Laura was always on hand to respond to any questions and spent time with us at a number of appointments to make sure we were comfortable with how things were progressing. We’re really happy in our new home and the team we dealt with at Avant were really supportive.

TrustpilotMoved us in with no working fridge/freezer at Christmas!!
Myself and my partner (both first time buyers) were moved into our new avant home just before Christmas with no working fridge/freezer. When reporting this to our customer service point of contact, we were told that there were no staff available until the 6th January to sort this issue for us - we were then informed that it was down to us to ring around repair companies if we wanted it fixing before this date! The move in felt very rushed and no proper home demonstration was given before hand over - I’m extremely disappointed with the level of customer service received & would at the very least have expected avant to check that all the appliances were working before moving in customers, especially around Christmas!! The unprofessional service from Avant turned what should’ve been a really exciting time into something completely different.

TrustpilotDisappointed with communications
We bought our house from Avant 10 years ago and have no issues however, the land behind my house is owned by Avant and there are old trees which hang over my garage. They have potential to cause damage to my and neighbouring properties. My husband and I have both emailed Avant to ask if the trees could be cut back to prevent any damage, very disappointed that we have had no reply.

I bought a house from Avant Home, and I honestly cannot describe how disappointed I am. I never thought a house could be this poorly built. From the moment I moved in, it became clear that the quality of their work was shockingly bad. Everything from the materials used to the overall workmanship is simply unacceptable. If you’re considering purchasing a property from this company, I strongly urge you to take the reviews seriously. They are not exaggerating. The craftsmanship is substandard, and the finishing touches are sloppy at best. The issues I’ve encountered range from structural problems to cosmetic details that should never have been overlooked in a brand-new home.I deeply regret trusting this company with such an important investment. If you value your money and peace of mind, please take your time to research thoroughly before making any decisions. Don’t make the same mistake I did, choose a company that genuinely cares about quality and customer satisfaction.

TrustpilotI would not recommend AVANT homes to…
I would not recommend AVANT homes to anyone, as I do not wish for anyone else to deal with the issues we have had and still remain unresolved. We were not given information by sales representatives prior to signing NHQC drawings for our property about the codes which indicate the colour for the roof for our property, we were promised to have a certain colour by one sales representative and were under the impression that this was what we were getting. We later realised only after the roof went on, that we had the roof colour that we did not agree on. It was too late, there was no option to change the roof or choose a different property and we were just informed that we are not being compensated in anyway by AVANT for the lack of clear communication. We were dealing with three different sales representatives, discussing extras and there were items missed on the extras/ choices invoice, which we had to go over and sign three times. Again, a clear lack of communication between the team as well. Please be made aware that there will be no customer compensation from AVANT, should issues occur.
Thank you for your review, we value all customer feedback, and we are sorry if your experience with us was negative. You can find the details of our regional customer services teams here: https://www.avanthomes.co.uk/contact-us/customer-service/report-an-issue
