Adam was fab! Turned up as expected, carried out the work to a really high standard, friendly, great with my daughter and our dog who were both very interested in what he was doing. If the review was purely for Adam I would have given 5* however our overall Avant experience hasn’t been great, hence the 3* review.

Babington Quarter- Gary has been a few times to our home now and always gone above and beyond to help us and get issues sorted he’s very knowledgable, friendly and helpful would give him 5 stars but the overall company and customer service is not great wouldn’t buy another Avant home.Been in a year and issues since day one are finally getting sorted.

Laura came to my house at Waterside Quarter to fix some snags and wow!! What a lady. There’s not a thing that she cannot do, she is an absolute credit to the company. Couldn’t rate her level of work high enough and with her professional and kind attitude I felt she needed highlighting with a 5* review! Thank you Laura!

Encountered some snagging issues and reported them to customer services. It took a while but they sent me a lovely lady called Laura. Not only was she polite and courteous, she was very knowledgeable in all aspects of the job and more.. I will only ever ask for Laura in the future for any works tat needs to be done.

The 5 stars are only for Laura otherwise it would be 1, if the rest of Avant had an ounce of her professionalism and dedication to ensure issues are rectified it would be a much more pleasurable experience of buying and living in an Avant home. Laura makes you feel valued and always goes above and beyond to sort any issues you have, she’s a credit to the company.

We've had a shocking experience with Avant since buying our home but this is a well done to Adam Kniveton. He has visited our property twice now to finish up work. Does the job he says. Explains what he is doing. Good communication. He cleans up after himself. He even played with the dog and my son who kept on and on at him to play. Thanks Adam.

Laura who does most of the snag job follow ups is an asset to the company . Laura turned up to every appointment on time when she was due to do a job. She was always polite and her work is excellent. Laura always cleared up afterwards and left everything clean and tidy. Middlebeck resident.

Whilst I have had ongoing remedial issues, Laura has been superb in relation to rectifying many of these! She’s an asset to Avant and I wish all the contractors who worked on my home would have had the same skill, expertise and knowledge that Laura has. She’s very much in demand on our development (Hawfinch Place) as the quality of her work is of such an excellent standard. Nothing is too much trouble and she often goes above and beyond for customers. I wish Laura had built my home!

We moved into our Avant home in December 2021. Have had several dealings with different Customer Service personnel during the snagging process. However, we have found Shelby to be the best. We have had many faults/snags, from minor to very major eg replacement of bifold doors and frame after many visits to rectify the problems we were experiencing in this regard. Shelby is the 4th Avant Customer Service contact we have had and is the best by far. Shelby is always pleasant and does her best to help us. She is an asset to the company.

Friendly staff, but no physical brochures. The issue is when out one doesnt have a lap top with one, and so to look into each has to wait until you return home. This is a lost opportunity to position and sell to us. It is all well and good cutting that cost, and stating look when you get back, but the mood you are in and driver changes the more sites of others visited. Hard to put one next to the other when you have no brochure and they do.

Avant home always said the issue has been logged with the plumbing contractor who will contact you direct to arrange an appointment, but never someone will contact you. Reported the issue to them early after I moved in. Problems with radiator still not fixed. The two years warranty period almost expired. What are they doing? Nothing! Don’t buy their house. There are no after sales services.

Experience with Avant homes has been terrible since the moment after reservation where before they were brilliant. We’ve had very snotty phone calls and emails from them about us and our solicitors despite the fact that all of the hold ups are on their end.

The Trinity Fields staff at Retford are amazing. Carla dealt with us at first and helped us reserve our new home as she knew how much we wanted it. Today (3rd June) we went to the site to see the progress on our house and spoke with Nadia who is so lovely, she gave us some more helpful information and told us to come and visit whenever we want which is really kind (we’ll definitely be there every week)!!
