We bought a house from Ashberry Homes last year. The house was ready before we were ready to move in so they rushed all the handover paperwork to transfer the responsibility to the aftersales customer care team. When we moved in, we found out that the garden was messy and the carpets were not cleaned. After multiple emails with the Bellway Customer Services (Ashberry's sister company), they agreed to provide an additional carpet cleaning service and a garden service. The loan was mowed on a very rainy day and the garden ended up with multiple bald areas. We contacted with them again, showed the pictures and again after multiple emails, they agreed to provide an after service to bring the garden back to normal. After 3 additional visits, the garden is still in the same condition and they don't take any responsibility from now on. The overall service was quite satisfactory until we had to deal with the after sales customer services team. Our advice to the potential customers is to ensure Ashberry Homes provide a proper garden before the move in date, otherwise you have to deal with the poor after-sales customer services and may end up with no success on your issues.

Great help from Lisa our sales advisor who gave some great advice, making things clearer with no pressure placed on the sale. Some good incentives helped us with our final decision. Would be 5star if the price on our sales sheet had not gone up by £3000 when we returned to place our deposit a week later. Shame the price on our sales sheet could not be honoured.

We are not as yet at exchange but so far Yasmin has been very helpful and informative. She is always happy to show us around and give us her time.We are however very disappointed that as a company your prices for extras such as granite tops are so high even for the smaller properties. We are having to consider having them all altered once we move in which seems such a waste.

So we have been in our home for 6 weeks now and wanted to wait before writing a review, but we couldn't have asked for a better team to be handling our first home than Sarah, John and Tommy (Durham Division). While we did find some snags, they were minor and fixed quickly and the team couldn't have been more helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend to a friend and have to say that while the experience of buying a home is always going to be stressful, the Ashberry Team handled our stress so well and made everything as easy as they possibly could.Sarah was a delight during the process of reservation, the entire buying process and beyond, and I think she works so hard to truly make sure her clients get the best from their new homes.John did our home handover and walked us through everything to make sure we knew exactly what to expect from our home and put us at ease during a chaotic moving time.Tommy did our entire snagging list, and was so friendly and efficient that even on the most stressful days managed to make us remember how exciting it is to have bought a home. We are so grateful for everything Tommy did to get the house exactly how we wanted it!100% recommend Ashberry Homes and will most likely stay with them when we eventually decide to sell and buy a different home.
