GoogleThey don't care. We've been renting with this agency for over 3 years. If you'd like maintenance whilst you rent, DO NOT PICK THIS AGENCY!! When we've moved in, our back gate was completely ripped off. They promised they'll come and fix it. We've waited 2 months. They never came. Then, our boiler broke completely in December 2023. We've reported, and after a week of no contact (or heating or hot water), we've called them again. Took them another full week to come and fix it. Never provided any alternative heating sources to us either. IN DECEMBER! We've told them in April 2024 that we have 3 walls damp, peeling paint, and broken weather shield on the door where water actually enters the property and is soaking the floor when it rains. They promised to sort it. They haven't. Came to check the property again in June. We pointed out that we're still waiting for someone to come and check. They promised again, yet once again, nothing has happened. We repeated this process at the end of October again. They once again promised they'd come. They haven't. (They have taken pictures every one of these instances) I've emailed again in January. They promised again. Nothing has happened, and now we're at the end of February. I've spoken to them again. And they're asking for more photos of the issue before they come out? It's been over 10 months of heating a damp property. And no one cares. I'm in the process now to take legal advice against them. If you want an acceptable home, DO NOT RENT WITH THEM! It's like they see you as animals that don't need heat or dry conditions and are ok to live in mould as long as you're paying.

Please be assured that we are fully away of this issue and we are attempting to keep you up to date with the actions that we are taking. In some situations where works are requested we are limited due to reasons beyond our control which is the case here. We will continue to do all we can to move this problem along as these matters are important. With regards the matter of your boiler from 2023 I can see that you reported this on 17/12/2023 and a plumber attended 19/12/2023. The boiler required a new part which needed to be authorised, ordered, and then fit which in total took 7 days which is not an unreasonable turnaround time. At all times and with all circumstances the situation of our tenants and the landlords property is of paramount concern and we always aim to do our best. Kind regards Property Shop

GoogleI would just like to say thank you to the lovely kind and helpful staff at the property shop in Accrington. I was able to secure my apartment as they do weekend viewings which most other estate agents don’t. My moving in process was quick and easy so stress free due to this. It’s a shame more estate agents don’t open on a weekend I wouldn’t have been able to view on a working day with a new job I had just started. If your looking to move I would highly recommend these guys great service. Thank you

GoogleI recently sold my late mother's house through Property Shop, and have been very happy with the service provided from the initial probate valuation and quote, through to the final sale after months of legal issues. Everyone I've dealt with from the firm has been good, and the information provided was excellent. Before I accepted an offer I was given good information about booked viewings, buyer feedback and offers made. Then after I accepted an offer, I received far more information about the progress of the sale from Property Shop than I did from my Solicitor. so thank you for a job well done.

GoogleThe team was extremely helpful as a whole. I had a very good experience and I know a lot of that was outside of their control due to the nature of the industry but I cannot fault their communication. It was really handy being able to pop into the shop which is something that helped me as a first time seller. If I could suggest any room for improvement it would be to have some kind of basic progress update portal like when you track a courier package to show the status and who needs to make the next move and with whom it is sat.

GoogleMyself and my girlfriend purchased our first home through Property Shop and are so so so so so so thankful/grateful for how we was treated throughout the process and how they made the entirety of it so enjoyable/easy for us. I had the pleasure of dealing with both Shelley and Chloe who was extremely professional, always at hand, was always there with very fast responses, assured us every single step of the way and by keeping us constantly updated. I’d like to say an extra big thank you to Shelley who I dealt with the most with in the process and who would always go out her way to email us at all hours (including 11pm!!) to assure us and sort any problems or queries for us. It was nice to feel like we was treated as friends/friendly rather than just another customer and that’s what I loved most about this experience. We can’t wait to start our new chapter in our new home and I will not hesitate to use Property Shop in the future if need be. I would definitely recommend Property Shop to anyone and I would again just like to say how thankful we both are!. THANK YOU

GoogleI purchased a property through property shop, Abbie Wake dealt with so much for myself and the seller and everything went through great, due to the excellent service I received when purchasing I decided to use property shop when I wanted to sell the property, again Abbie and the team were amazing, they went above and beyond what was required. In the final stages of the sale I was unable to get to the property, but Abbie made sure everything was in place ready for completion. Abbie thank you and all at property shop. Libby

GoogleHaving recently sold a house through Property Shop I wanted to thank the team for dealing with the sale with professionalism, courtesy and processing the sale in a quick timeframe. Our valuation was carried out by Shelley Mason who's expert advice was clearly on the mark. Our property was listed for sale and Kirsty Taylor became our primary point of contact. Viewings were managed on our behalf and within 2 weeks we had received and accepted an offer. Kirsty kept us informed throughout the process and then chased up proof of funds, acted as liaison between us and our buyers and respective solicitors. GoogleProperty Shop and particularly Kirsty Taylor-Brass are superb. We invited PS to value our house along with others. PS gave us great advice, valuation and all service very prompt. Initial intention was to use PS for an easymove service on a new build but we pulled out early and stuck with PS for a private sale. Kirsty arranged a few viewings and the very first of them made a good offer which we accepted. We were all set to move December 2022, but a buyer at other end of the chain pulled out at the 11th hour. Resulting in that property needing to be re-sold. Kirsty took strong control, regularly pushing other agents and solicitors in the chain, and going above and beyond for us by a long way to finally complete our move at the beginning of May 2023. If you need an estate agent and are reading this, give them a call.

GoogleFirst Class Customer Service! We contacted three local estate agents, The Property Shop being one of those agents, with regards to selling our property. After meeting all three, it was clear The Property Shop could provide a more professional and personalised service which was right for us. From initial contact through to marketing our property through The Property Shop we were delighted with the service. The team were very attentive, consistently professional and responded to any questions in a timely manner. The marketing pack produced for our property was exceptional. Viewings of our property were agreed and arranged at times to suit both parties. We had numerous viewings within days and secured a sale of our property subject to contract within a week. From sale STC to completion Abbie and her team provided a consistent, high-quality service, they keep us informed and supported us through the small hurdles we encountered along the way. GoogleOur property had been listed and sold twice with another Estate Agents but had fallen through on two occasions due to the poor service on the progression side. After we took the decision to switch to Property Shop we were blown away by the level of service Property Shope provided. Abbie handled our sale from start to finish and was absolutely fantastic. Abbie provded honest advice on the sale and she made sure that we were kept updated at every step of the way. Abbie went above and beyond by keeping our onward purchase updated and chasing up solicitors to make sure the legal work was progressing. I would like to offer my heartfelt thanks to Abbie Wake who worked incredibly hard and had to endure abject ignorance, dismissive treatment and negligence from the estate agents and solicitors down the chain. GoogleOutstanding - there's no other word to describe the service I received from The Property Shop. Specifically Jason and Brittany. Both are a credit to the team! Jason gave me pointers on how to bring my property up to a tenantable state and expertly advised me on the market and the achievable rent figures. He was on hand whenever I needed him and was prompt, clear and concise in his communication. Brittany was also brilliant on the lettings side of things. She kept me updated and handled all of my questions professionally. Between the two, they managed to get a more than suitable tenant on board and in the property in the space of one month. I would highly recommend them to all landlords looking for a managing agent. Great service!

GoogleI have been a tenant with Property Shop since 2021 in 2 separate houses. The team here communicate well and always ensure everything is in good order at the house for us. Our landlord has been great at getting any remedial work done quickly. We don't have a bad word to say about any of the team at Property Shop!

She kept me advised of developments every step of the way and never did anything without consulting me first. She listened to my requests and never challenged me. Shelley was excellent in valuing the property and gave us realistic expectations showing her expertise in the property market. Kirsty was our regular contact with Property Shop. We highly recommend her. She communicated regularly with us without prompting, and handled any of our queries quickly too. What a team! GoogleI find this letting agency to have the worst customer service. They constantly speak over you, its like they can not be bothered with any issues or problems you have. Don't expect anything to be resolved in a timely matter. Unless you are calling about something positive or something that will earn them money, they don't want to know. I'd recommend you avoid unless desperate.

Issues with our landlords properties are of the highest concern along with your safety and well being. This is why a third party company was instructed to complete important and necessary upgrading works to ensure your property is maintained well. This does at times mean that updates or further information regarding these works are not straightforward in obtaining when they are out of our control. While we keep an eye on all ongoing works at properties we are unable to control how a third party contractor or company handles these matters and how they communicate. As a direct result repeated calls within a short time frame will always result in the either the same answer you have already been provided or notification that we have no further news. we appreciate that this can be frustrating but is a matter that is relatively out of our control. GoogleI was involved in a purchase which commenced in August 2021 and only just completed yesterday. Quite often the estate agent tend to favour the vendor, however I cannot thank Lisa Duffy of Propert Shop enough. She endured the rollercoaster ride with us and ensured we kept on track and kept the sale alive through sheer insistence to not let it fall through. Lisa showed compassion for what issues I was having with delayed searches and incompetent solicitors and held the sale together when many would not. I have experience of all the estate agents in the area so I know! Lisa took ownership of the transaction and even responded to emails and sent chasers when on annual leave! If you are going to sell or buy a house I cannot reccomend Lisa highly enough! Thank you Lisa x

GoogleThe property shop have been absolutely brilliant for my recent sale and purchase of properties. They always phone you back when they say they will and keep you updated. Lisa Duffy was great to deal with, friendly, organised and went above and beyond to make sure she was contactable outside of normal office hours due to complications with the property we were purchasing. This was to ensure our buyers could be informed when our property was empty. I have dealt with the other agents in the local area for previous property sales and they were more expensive than the property shop and the customer service was rubbish in comparison. Highly recommended and a big thank you! :-)
