We purchased our house through Simpsons. We had nothing but a fantastic experience with them. When we was searching they always let us know as soon as they had a new house for sale in our budget. They were very knowledgeable about the houses we looked at and made sure any queries they was unsure on were answered extremely quickly. They were so helpful with the purchase process always staying in touch. Highly highly recommended.

Due to the COVID situation, we were unable to visit the properties but the agents at Simpsons have been very responsive and proactive in assisting the whole online process, including arranging of virtual tours, facetime viewing of the properties while the follow-ups are done through whatsapp calls and facetime calls. The customer services are excellent from viewing, pre-completion communications, inspection of properties and follow-up of all services. Even though I have not met the agents face-to-face, I truly sense there is not much difference via the remote communication channels for the whole property purchase and property rental services. When I bought my house, I found Simpsons in Abingdon very pleasant and easy to deal with. I worked mostly with Matt, who was very quick to send me updates and answer any queries I had over phone or email. All the staff I spoke to in the branch were very friendly. They gave helpful advice and also recommended a solicitor they often work with, who was excellent and very efficient, which really made the whole process run smoothly. Buying a house through Simpsons has never been easier - I just left it all in their capable hands and let them contact me when needed. Professional and very thorough, one aspect that I applaud is that when I felt the need to contact them, they were always available to assist or answer any queries and always up to date with the progress. It was pretty stress free. I have used Joe Hodgkins, the Lettings Director, for many years in letting my properties. He makes it personal, meaning he always remembers who I am and keeps me up to date on all current letting legislation or is able to help with any repairs or problems. He found a tenant for my current property within a week and keeps a list of workmen for maintenance who charge at a very competitive rate. He is also very valuable for asking any advice. I have no hesitation in recommending Simpsons.

When the chain was in danger of collapse due to problems elsewhere in the chain, they did lots of chasing up and down the chain to achieve completion.
