Phil May has been exactly the type of estate agent you could ask for. He's been reliable, informative, agreeable, straight-talking - and very patient in the face of my many requests. He's also done an outstanding job at chasing our seller's solicitor when she had proved difficult to get hold of. After two year of trying to buy and sell, we came to Phil at Davis Tate in a bid to purchase a property extremely quickly after our previous purchase fell through. I rarely take the time to write reviews but even though I am sitting amongst too many boxes to unpack I wanted to take a minute to say a massive thank you to Phil and his team, Josh and Joel. I have just completed on a beautiful property in Abingdon it is leasehold and we have encountered delays along the way I had a very strict deadline and was constantly on the phone to all the team. They were amazing always ready to help and Phil always came to me with solutions and not problems. I can recommend Abingdon Davis Tate very highly. So friendly, so helpful and definitely went above and beyond to help. I cannot thank them enough for all the work they put in and because of Phil's determination I now am able to spend Christmas with my family which words cannot express how thankful i am and what that means for us. Joel held the chain together

Joel held the chain together when it was at a crucial time. Davis Tate conveyancing was non communicatice delayed information which cost me £800.00, a valuable loss. They gave me an incorrect completion date which caused me great dificulty in organizing a removal company. I would NEVER recommend an agents conveyancing service but suggest they seek the service of an independant solicitor. The Davis Tate conveyancer confirmed by TEXT completion was in place!! I have to date received no written documentation to confirm this. This is beyond belief and I question the legality!!! The Davis Tate team were pleasent to deal with. I wish to thank Joel with his attention to detail, it was he that saw things through, I think the move would not have happened if it wasn't for his attention to detail. I wish him well in his career.
