Superb! Cannot rate this

Superb! Cannot rate this agency highly enough. Trying to organise a rental property from a distance was daunting but from the very first phonecall to getting the keys we were met with the utmost courtesy, professionalism and helpfulness. Dom was such an easy person to deal with, full of enthusiasm, positivity and willing to go the extra mile to help. The whole team were great. No matter who answered our phone calls they knew the property and would answer our queries. From viewing on the Saturday to landlord acceptance on the Monday we couldn't have wished for an easier process. We certainly would choose to use Davis Tate again and recommend them without hesitation.

Katy & Dom at Davis

After having a pleasant experience with Davis Tate a few years ago when my property was on the market, I knew that when we found ourself in a position to rent our property out and become landlords I would go straight to Davis Tate to market our property. Becoming a first time landlord is quite overwhelming as there is a lot to get in place but from the moment I discussed the possibility of renting our house, Katy was just brilliant. Katy has been on hand throughout the whole process and has honestly made it run so smoothly. Katy has sent me lots of information and always been at the end of the phone or an email to answer my many questions and it has never been a bother to her. Dom has also been great in marketing the property and showing round prospective tenants, the communication has always been great. Dom and Katy have always been so honest and have spent a lot of time finding us the ideal tenants instead of just rushing the process and moving anyone in to our home and for that we are really grateful and feel incredibly reassured that we have got the right tenants in our home. I’ve dealt with other estate agents in the area over the years and have had nothing but awful experiences, with lack of communication, desperation and dishonesty and I can honestly say that Davis Tate are anything but that. And although we will be mainly managing our property ourselves going forward I know they will always be on hand when we need them even though the property is now rented out. Thank you Katy and Dom at the Abingdon branch. If you are thinking of selling or renting your property you won’t be disappointed with the service at Davis Tate.

Great experience with this estate agent. They were friendly, knowledgeable and very quick to answer or assist when required. Viewings were arranged with short notice and I was sorted within a matter of days. Even with complications with the application, I was kept informed and the team far exceeded expectations in ensuring my application was successful! Would highly recommend!

Amazing experience with Dom

Dom at David Tate helped make every step of the renting process as simple as possible, which really helped me as a first time renter. Despite some problems arising outside of everyone’s control, Dom was always keeping me informed and doing everything he could to help minimise the stress of delays to my start date. From our first interaction he was friendly, kind, and informative - couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend his services!

We bought our home with Davis Tate in the spring of 2022. They were incredibly accommodating and professional. We viewed in January after work when it was dark and we're able to review it on a weekend in the light, so could actually see the garden. Everyone has been kind, professional and always greeted us, whether in person, or on the phone, with great hospitality - we mostly had correspondence with Dominic and Andy. We've been in the house just over a year now and I couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out.

I have rented a two bedroom apartment with Davis Tate Abigdon for nearly a year now and as a tenant I am very happy with this agency. Although I have to leave the property to be nearer my university I would like to thank Warren Stein, who is my property manager, for being so efficient and patient with us when dealing with any problems I come up with, regardless of the circumstances which the UK and the world is facing at the moment. I highly recommend this agency as I am very happy with their services.

We were in our perfect house

We were in our perfect house within 2 months and had the best support along the way! Katy was extremely quick to respond to all questions and requests and it was so refreshing how smooth the application process was. I was extremely grateful for how understanding the agents were with our requests, and the key collection process was straight forward. Compared to other letting agents I have used, this is by far the quickest, most efficient and friendly. Thank you for making our moving process so much easier as we moved over Christmas through tier systems. We really appreciate it.

I was incredibly impressed by the professionalism, honesty and dedication shown by Christina and Paul during what turned out to be a rather complex process. I was particularly grateful to both of them for great communication, for answering any questions I had very promptly, and for keeping us up to date on developments during sales progression. I would wholeheartedly recommend Davis Tate Abingdon to anyone looking to buy or sell their house. Huge thanks to Paul and Christina.

Excellent could not have done

Unfortunately due to being let down by another local estate agent we had to find and move into a property in a timescale of less than a week. That's when we found a very nice Davis Tate property. When we explained the situation they fully understood. Tom in particular managed our case. From the start of the process to the finish including referencing, tenancy agreements and more it only took around 5 days. This is a blisteringly fast turn around. Tom was excellent staying in regular contact and answering any questions promptly. Overall I am very impressed by this estate agent and would highly recommend them.

What a professional, helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly service we have received from Phil over the last few months. My husband and I couldn't be happier with the help, advice and speed in which Phil has dealt with our complicated house sale. From the initial consultation and valuation; his professional photographer worthy photos of our property; to his cheerful, positive manner; all the way through to exchange. (Our house in fact selling within 24 hours) He did what he said, when he said he would; kept us informed; going above and beyond on several occasions. He has been exceptional on all levels. Taking the time to explain things in detail and make sure we were happy every step of the way. He has made what could have been a very stressful situation (myself also being 6 months pregnant) easy, straightforward and handled it in such a way that I have had the utmost confidence in him and his capabilities as our agent from start to finish. I have found his support these last few months unwavering. It's nice to know there's still some genuine, honest, helpful people around. Phil is definitely one of the good guys!
