Avoid at all costs. Notice that the only positive reviews are from people moving in and absolutely none from those moving out or currently living in a Stonehouse property. That should be indication enough. We left a positive review after being requested to do so by the company and felt pressured to do so. So what were they really like? They acted like crooks when we left. Drummed up spurious reasons to withhold money from our deposit charging an outrageous sum for "cleaning" and an administration charge for charging money from the deposit. We left the flat spotless. They also failed to follow government guidelines for returning the deposit taking months to even begin the process. Finally we received all the deposit back as we complained to the safety deposit scheme who asked for evidence which Stonehouse were clearly unable to provide. If you have the audacity to question their professionalism or dare to demand the money they rightfully owe you back, good luck getting landlord review from them! They're absolutely delightful when they're trying to pour you into a property and from that moment they are abysmal. Our property manager was less than useless. We would get in contact via the maintenance website *and* by email about problems, including but not limited to: A broken shower - took 5 visits from 4 different sets of tradesfolk who showed up, looked at it and left saying they need to order a part. When they finally had the right part (it was not a match) they installed it back-to-front. I'm not even sure how that's possible. It only provided 3 temperature settings instead of a sliding scale. They did fix it properly eventually but it was months, not days., A window in the living room that wouldn't close properly - took 3 months to fix and left us freezing during the winter months A leaky boiler - never fixed Giving a key that allowed access to the water valve - took 5 emails and a verbal confrontation upon their visitNegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

Definitely had a good experience with DJ Alexander. I viewed the property, got a response, got my credit checks done and confirmed a move in date all within weeks!! Laura Mctaggart was very prompt in responding to my emails and it was so helpful. She also answered all my queries without any complaints. 10/10 I would recommend. 😊

Excellent service all round

Just moved into my new flat and the customer service and support I've had from the start of the process has been excellent.From viewing the flat through to signing the tenancy agreement was such a smooth procedure and only took around 4 days which I thought was insanely fast!Correspondence is always speedy which is awesome and a big shout out to Paul who has been very helpful from the viewing all the way to handing the keys over.

Would highly recommend and use again

Throughout our time renting with DJ Alexander we have had an extremely positive experience from start to finish. If any issue was ever presented they were very attentive and proactive about the situation and kept us highly updated with regular and timely replies. When moving out of our rented property Associate End of Tenancy Property Manager Anna Scott did an incredible job with providing sustainable information to ensure we were able to secure our deposit back! Would highly recommend!

Superb Service

I have owned a lot of properties in the last few decades but this was my first time using DJ Alexander. I worked with Johan, Scott, Ruth and Stephen and they were all excellent. Fantastic experience Giulia was lovely from the get-go incredibly informative and helpful and lovely in person. The whole process was really quick and they kept us updated about our application progress. We got the house which we absolutely loved and 3 months in we are really impressed with the service and care provided. I would highly recommend Guila and DJ Alexander. Also a mention to Christin who was genuinely lovely dealing with our application. Whenever we needed anything Guila and Christin were available to answer any questions.
