An absolute dream to deal with. Ellaina was incredibly helpful and patient with me as we worked through my position as a first-time buyer, answered any query I had, and is just really lovely. Seb was tenacious in getting the finances right for shared ownership and I can't thank him enough for that. Am absolutely over the moon to have got my first home but if I ever need a change William H Browns would definitely be the first place I look!

Right from the beginning of the process of purchasing my future home I had the pleasure of dealing with Ruby. I was kept informed throughout the whole progress. The staff were always professional and returned calls in a timely manner as well so thank you for that. 😊 (Harry and Sarah) Ruby was keeping me up to date on a regular basis, we kept in touch with each other as the sale progressed. Excellent service to date from Rob at William H Brown. He arrived bang on time, was polite and showed respect for our house. He asked all the right questions and walked through all the possible options for selling the house. Extremely unprofessional agency. Information is inconsistent. I arranged for a viewing this morning. And the agent named Maizee knew that I was travelling from Hull to York. I was 15 minutes away when she told me that her colleague has an appointment and had to leave. So they had to do a video tour of the property which was something I asked in the first place which was declined. Seems like a malicious and unprofessional stunt from their part and obviously ruined my day and wasted my time.

I contacted William H Brown to value my Father's estate for probate. Rob has been absolutely fantastic, totally professional and helpful at every turn. We don't at this moment know which property may be sold and Rob was aware it may be none of them for a while, but he still gave a fabulous service and detailed valuations for us to sort out our affairs to help decide what we do next. I think the fact that the service was so professional, even though there may not be a sale for a while or even at all, speaks volumes about this companies ethics. I had others not interested as soon as they found out we are not sure about what the future holds in regards to selling.. When we do know, we will be back! Thanks again Rob

Barnaby at William H Brown has been extremely attentive on our journey so far. We have seen multiple properties (all perfectly organised into a day) that were chosen by Barnaby to suit our requirements. He is open to honest feedback on properties and felt very genuine in approach. I also asked Barnaby if we could communicate through email as I was getting a lot of calls from work and struggled with it and he listened straight away - emailing me and being patient with response times.

I have just competed my house sale with William H Brown and i have been very impressed with their services. Having previously been up for sale with another agent that failed to get many people through the door to view i changed to W H Brown. This was in the main as they kept in touch with me throughout my house being on the market with another vendor to see how things were going. They were in contact more than the vendors that we were actually using.....not pestering at all but generally interested to see how things were going. Having changed to WH Brown the service was superb and Amy in the office was excellent. We agreed a sale and Amy kept me informed throughout the process. Her warmth and friendly manner making the whole process painless go very smoothly. Cannot rate these guys enough, we didn’t use them for the sale of our property which was a mistake as agents we used were rubbish! We did purchase our new house through them though and service and process for enjoyable, seamless and informative. Amy was the lead on our sale and she kept us up to date weekly, if not more! I can't recommend Amy and Simon enough. Simon did our mortage side and has been so helpful all I have to do is ring him up and he answers the phone every time and tells us what we need to do. If we couldn't make it in the shop he would arrange an appointment to come and see us at home,which made it so much easier for us. Myself and my husband dealt with a gentleman called Rik Wilson when renting our property out and we can honestly say Rik was the perfect person to help us. Rik came round to our property to advise us on renting as we had never done this before, explained everything we needed to do, explained everything in terms that was easy to understand as this can be a daunting experience when just starting out. This estate agents were professional and friendly. Amy Conboy was always available to answer my calls, any silly questions I had and hurry the solicitor along. I like the idea of the portal they have although I didn't really use it or find it as helpful as it was intended to be. Our house sold quickly (11days) it was advertised well and we were kept informed throughout the process.
