Amy Cranfield of Northwood couldn't have been more helpful throughout my viewing and subsequent purchase. Amy was highly efficient in ensuring that all parties communicated quickly and effientiently, I would highly recommend her and her colleagues.

They were proactive throughout the sale of our property but there was a few negatives that unfortunately outweighed the positives. A big selling point in relation to the property which was majorly advertised on Rightmove, Zoopla and the Northwood website etc is that the property had a state of the art BOSE sound system built in to each room of the house which we very much liked the idea of. Unbeknown to us and something were not made aware that this sound system did not work! We later got a quote which stated hundreds of pounds to get fixed which is a huge inconvenience when just moving house with costs etc. Also, on the day of moving, we had to sit outside the property for around 4 hours passed the time Northwood advised they would hand over the keys, in the street, in a van. Northwood also made me travel to York to collect as they would not drop these keys off to our new house as they claimed being short staffed on a Friday. The sale of the property was not so bad, but if you purchase a property from these guys, be sure to check everything out first. I have contacted them since in regards to the sound system and a blunt text back stated there was nothing they could do. No customer after care unfortunately.

I have recently completed the purchase of my first property and being a complete novice in the house buying world it was of huge relief to be dealing with Northwood, the expertise and customer care that was provided was exceptional, and this was not the easiest of purchases by any stretch of the imagination. I would absolutely recommend the Northwood York team to anybody, especailly those first time purchasers who require a little support through what is a very difficult experience. I would like to pass on my thanks to the whole Northwood team.

Northwood were the Estate Agent for the property I recently purchased in York. Maryanne and here team provided excellent support throughout the process and genuinely cared for the interests of seller and buyer. Response to queries was always quick and clear. I would recommend using Northwood to others and I would seriously consider using them if I ever need to sell my property in the future.
