No edita needed as the information is accurate, please don’t atop users seeing an honest and legitimate review as this will be on the users detriment. The location es excellent, there is no denying that, but the flat was dirty, left over veggie in the sieve, the light switch still had greasy finger marks, one knife in the knife box still had something sticky on it. Basically, the counter had been wiped and all the commonly expected visible areas where clean, but not in the detail in some parts. Other than that, beds where comfortable. There was no welcome pack as described and we didn't see that the wifi was in the TV sticker, so we had to call to request the code. Other than this, TV all good, all utensils there, I would go back, but the flat needs cleaning. Also, the door that leads to the upstairs floor was unlocked and lucky we checked since the upstairs guest would have been able to walk to our hallway.

We recently used CityLets to market our rental property near York University for the first time ever. I was very impressed with the speed of the service provided by Karen in particular, but also all of the CityLets staff I dealt with. Karen was very knowledgeable about the current rental market in York. I was extremely pleased with the quality of all of the applicants who came to view our property and could have happily let the property to any one of them. I also really liked the fact that you could pay for the services you actually needed, rather than having to pay a blanket fee.

Was expecting the worst after having previous trouble with landlords and letting agents in York the last couple of years but the difference was remarkable. I was desperate to find somewhere at short notice since work had me needing to be in York with just a couple weeks notice. Upon first calling Leanne was immensely helpful and sorted out an amazing flat for a great price, and even helped us place an offer before it was on the market, efficiently agreeing on a deal which was very beneficial to both me and the landlord. We were then passed on to Karen who made the following documentation period as efficient and painless as can be hoped for. Contract was fair and well written up. Moved into the property at short notice having not had the time to view it but am really happy with its condition and size. It’s rare somewhere looks better than in the pictures!

Fantastic experience from status from start to finish. First let me say Mia was most helpful from start to finish from the moment I booked to the moment she showed us into our holiday apartment which exceeded all our expectations. It was lovely at the John Walker house. A home away from home, except more. Very spacious for the 4 of us. Amazing view from the balcony, could see Cliffords Tower which lit up at night looked spectacular. Everything we needed the apartment had. Bathrooms were gorgeous and the kitchen was just so spacious , the brochure can not present how lovely these apartments really are. We all felt so chilled and enjoyed our little holiday home together, only sad thing is we had to leave a day earlier because of the Queens Jubilee and industrial rail action but City Lets can be reassured we will be back again! my youngest son said that it was "the best house" he had ever stayed in. I would have liked to have met some of the neighbours but everyone was quiet and kept themseleves to themseleves! I will be returning for sure!

Fantastic letting agency - we were having trouble with our background checks as our employers' HR section were taking their sweet time and being a bit obstructive, but big shout-out to Karen who did her nickname "the reference queen" all honour! Emperor Wharf apartment was as good as we hoped, in fact better. The position overlooking the river Ouse was lovely. All the rooms are nice and bright, the lounge spacious and very comfortable . We had breakfast each morning on the balcony, whilst watching people rowing and the geese trotting along the promenade on the opposite side. The City Cruising boats depart just just a short walk away. You can catch one opposite the apartment . We were extremely lucky with the weather in July and spent relaxing times on the balcony with drinks. Shops and places of interest are easy to walk to.lots of places to eat and drink.

My friend and I had a fantastic stay at the lovely Riverside Walk Suites - the room was very clean, the beds comfortable, and the decor was beautiful. We had everything we needed and the host had provided tea, coffee and milk as well as bathroom essentials. It was in a quiet but convenient location 15 minutes walk from the city centre, with a lovely river walk nearby as the name suggests. Carolina was helpful and friendly. We will be back and we will recommend it to others!

We are a group of nine staying in a property which is ran by CityLets York. This property is a 4 beds house with 3 floors near the Railway Museum. All the rooms are very spacious and there are, 2 en-suite bedrooms, one bathroom and a closet. It also has direct access to a communal garden where you could enjoy some sun (or the British weather). The whole place are very well decorated in a trendy style with York the city as a theme. The agency has kept it very cleaned and well prepared with all the essential that one will expect. I particular like the complimentary cookies. We all feel very comfortable during the stay and had some lovely time. Moreover, the agency has provided us with an "over and above" services, especially on after care this time, because one of us left our passports behind. Sharon and Kim who then came to our rescue went well beyond my expectations to help us in a swiftly manner. I simply can't say thank you enough and a box of chocolate should be on its way to express my thankfulness.

City Lets have been managing my Father-in-Law's investment property in York for a number of years. They have never failed to secure great tenants. Unlike some agencies it doesn't end there. Their regular inspections are carried out effectively accompanied by comprehensive reporting including sensible recommendations for any remedial works which they then organise through an excellent network of local specialists which has meant there has been no need for us to visit since renovations were completed in 2014! Karen Robertson was particularly helpful recently in resolving an overdue rental payment tracking the tenant down (who was abroad) before my father in law had even realised there was an issue. If you're looking for an easier life would therefore not hesitate in recommending City Lets in managing your rental property in York.
