Both Claire and Charlotte bring with them many years of experience in the lettings market in York. They provide very good customer care and deal promptly and efficiently with all aspects of property management, from finding suitable tenants to ongoing management of the tenancy. Where any issues arise they promptly respond and provide helpful advice. I would highly recommend Belvoir York.

GoogleNever rent a property from this agent, you wont get any penny back for the deposit, and all your messages and emails will be ignored automatically, this is the worst experience that you can expect from renting a property, especially for students overseas. They dont think you can argue for deposit back seriously, so they just keep not replying to you. Regarding 28 Siward Street, YO10 3LW, Term 2017-2018
I'm sorry but I think you may have the wrong letting agency, we are not a student letting agency and we don't have any record of you as a tenant on our database. These are quite serious remarks you are making as all of our deposits are protected with The DPS so we don't have any way of keeping or accessing our tenants deposits. GoogleRadiator heads were always not working as they look like more than 20 years old. The plumber repaired the radiator heads and didn't replace with new ones. He just put it on the radiators and TOLD US NOT TO TOUCH. At the end, the belvoir charged 144 pounds for three radiator heads. They said the radiator heads were broken by us. Rediculous.
Hi Zayang, as we discussed, the plumber said that all the Thermostatic valves had been snapped off, we paid for them the first time he fixed them, We also paid for extra cleaning after finding vomit down the side of the bed, the garden needed extra work and you weren't charged for this. When we discussed the bond deductions you agreed happily, if you are still not happy, please can you call our office instead of leaving the 4 reviews that you have. GoogleThroughout my time as a landlord with Belvoir the service has been excellent. I was new to the process of being a landlord and I cannot fault the guidance I have received. If there have been any concerns for the tenants I have been notified promptly and Charlotte or Claire have made arrangements for everything to be sorted.

GoogleWe have removed the content of this review, as we have been threatened with legal action by the business owners.
As this is in the hands of our legal advisers due to the factually incorrect and libelous statements, then I can comment no further, other than to say that as the DPS are a completely independent advisor who usually err on the side of tenants, and for them to award the Landlord (not us the Agent) cleaning costs then it must have been warranted.

GoogleMy experience with Belvoir had started very well when I got my apartment for rent, they were kind and all. They also asked the landlady to accept my pet (for an extra fee), which she did, so I was very happy. On the other hand, they left me for 2 months without hot water in the shower, and it took 9 months to change my door lock, as it used to get blocked every day. My dad even got locked inside the house once, and I had to leave work early to go help him open the door. When leaving the place after a year (as I left the country), they refused to do the final inspection and they then charged me a lot of money for stuff I did not do, but I could not dispute it as I had already left the country. Very smart of them. But I am seeking legal advice, as all this is clearly against the law. Stay as far away as possible from them.

Hi Leon, After spending a miminum of 25minutes going through with you the best way to guarantee a tenancy despite you not working and being on benefits, you rang me a couple of times for assistance. On one of these occasions you rang our emergency mobile number with a message ' ring me back its urge nt' this is a dedicated number for our current tenants, so I asked you not to call that one in future. GoogleThis family run, female only team at Belvoir, provide the intimate attention to detail synonymous with a female touch. Kind, attention to detail, approachable, warm, caring, and wholly professional. Championing the independence and warmth of a family run business so that we as tenants - or perhaps that should be, I as a tenant - feel a part of by virtue of our tenancy through them. Highly recommended if you, like I, enjoy a peaceful way of doing business.

Very honest when giving me information on all possibilities of living in the rental sector. These ladies offered me a 5star service and I would certainly recommend them if looking for rental properties, be it you looking to rent or a landlord with a property to let.

GoogleI am an experienced landlord with a number of investment properties and I recently decided to use Belvoir for the first time. Claire and Charlotte, the Directors, have expert knowledge in the field of lettings and offered some great advice. Suitable tenants were found quickly and Belvoir achieved an excellent rent increase for me. I will certainly be using them again in the future.
