GoogleI was looking to rent a property, Had a phone call from Amy message on my ansewer phone, after a email I sent, asking to see the property and offered 6 months rent in advance. Had no reply, sent another email, and had a phone call from he said the branch manager, I discused the phone and email with Amy, only to be told we have no Amy working here and basicaly told I am a lier, the only problem I have Amy on answer Phone clearly saying her name and she is from Connells. The manager said he would email me about a posible viewing guess what, no email. This was with Connells Yeovil. I will not be using them, there is zero trust.

GoogleI would not waste my time providing with feedback but I feel that I have to share with you my story and comment Mark Smeeth for taking leadership and for challenging slow and disinterested solicitors to get moving. Our story started in November 2020 when we decided to move to Yeovil. Initially my Mrs signed up with Yopa and we had 5 or six viewing in 2 weeks. After this it's all stopped and we had no viewings, no feedback and no advice from the estate agent. Lucky, we received a call from Connells who kindly explained their No Sell no fee and- surprise, surprise- in next 2 weeks we had 2 offers which were above the asking price. Next step was solicitors and this is were we AGAIN went wrong. Unfortunately for us and for our Seller, our recommended solicitors firm was only slow and extremely difficult to reach, but these bureaucrats refused to answer our emails and didn't engage with other parties involved in selling/ buying. It is hard to express how much help and support we received from Mark Smeeth, James Jordan and their team. Absolutely brilliant team! Mark not only chased for the solicitor but also escalated our conveyancer (and his lack of communication). After months of pointless emails and calls Mark took stepped in and chased not only Solicitors but also other essential enquiries witch allowed us to complete purchase on time. It's not surprise that buying/ selling property is long process however our conveyancer made it 10 if not 50 times longer. And all this was due to them being hard to reach and refusing to engage. Lucky Mark Smeeth applied his enthusiasm, leadership and professionalism to trace all missing documents and thanks to him we are now settled in our new home and that we didn't lose this purchase.PositiveProfessionalism

GoogleHad an unbelievable positive experience with this company. I needed to get into a new rental place in under 2 weeks and had a budget, within hours Cheryl had filtered down what was available within my budget and the areas that I wanted not only this she then also managed to get views on the same day. After looking at a few places I made my mind up on where I wanted and Cheryl got to work, knowing my tight timeframe she went through everything I needed to get the keys ASAP trying to turn it round in a day (did I mention this was between Christmas and NYE so not easy) After all of her hard work it was turned around in a couple of days and I can truly say this was a fantastic experience and would highly recommend them to anyone

GoogleAbsolutely top draw service. Have used Connells in Yeovil for a number of years to rent out a flat and now sell it. They always found reliable tenants and I never had any periods of it being empty. Great advice about strategies to get viewings for a property sale. They are prompt to deal with solicitors enquiries and chase things up for you. Highly recommend and will certainly use again. GoogleAttended a couple of viewings with my son on Friday afternoon. We were accompanied by a lovely young man (unfortunately can't recall the name) he had recently joined the company. He was very smart, polite,friendly and extremely helpful . I think he will do extremely well in the company and deserves recognition for doing a great job. Would like to say well done and good luck.

GoogleCouldn't actually view the first two properties I wanted to (first:no keys returned,2nd: keys didnt work 😂) which I'm so glad of as 3rd time was definitely the charm, and I know have an amazing apartment. I was in a rush to move in, and Cheryl in lettings was absolutely brilliant. Probably called every day with questions but nothing was too much trouble for her, every problem, real or imagined, was sorted out quickly,professional and (and this makes all the difference) cheerfully. 100% would use again.

GoogleMy experience has been great with Connells. I was selling my house and the process was a positive one. The whole team seemed really enthusiastic. I rang up initially to have a valuation on the house, knowing I was going to sell and had an appointment within a few days. Mark came along and was super enthusiastic, encouraging and just an all round brilliant vibe. I knew this was the kind of energy I wanted an estate agent to have whilst selling my house and it was leagues above anything else I had experienced. The effort really went beyond my expectations. Emails and phone calls were responded to anytime, not just the standard 9-5 as well as time being created for me, in what I’m sure was a very busy day anyway. This effort definitely doesn’t go unnoticed, and as the property selling sector is becoming crowded with competition n this sort of service is A1 and stands out from the rest. I would definitely recommend Connells Yeovil to anyone selling a house and hope to have many dealing with them again in the future.
