My son and his young family have been renting from Abbott’s for about five years now. Their landlord went up in the loft and put his foot through the ceiling in their bathroom. Huge hole and mess everywhere which my daughter in law cleaned up. There is water coming through the roof and there is wires everywhere. Landlord is taking his time getting it fixed. My son went to Abbott’s and asked if they could help and they turned around and said “No we can’t, you can hand your notice in if you want too”. IBeyond belief Abbots, they have two young children one with Asthma and you suggested they make themselves homeless by handing in there notice if they are not happy. You are a big joke and all as you care about is the money. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL I am disgusted at you.

Rochford Essex branch Appalling company. I wished to view 1 specific property and did not want to go on the mailing list . I was informed I could not and so the owner of the property potentially lost out on a sale. I am now receiving emails daily of ridiculous properties nothing like the listed property I wanted to view. I have tried numerous times to remove myself from the mailing list however it will not complete the action !! I will now have to ring tomorrow and waste more of my time. They are terrible to deal with .

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Used this company (colchester branch) to try and sell my house biggest mistake I've ever made. No feedback on any of my 8 viewing over the 3mths with them. Even the regional manager complete liar. Estate agents turning up on unconfirmed bookings. As a first time seller this has had a big affect on selling my house as to the time it has spent on the market. New local agents total different experience we'll run loads of viewings loads of feedback just wish i had gone with them first

If you wish to sell your home, you cannot choose anyone else who can do any better. Really good and effective marketing, plus this is someone who can drive through solicitor slowness and inefficiency to achieve the earliest possible completion.
A five-star award isn't enough, it should be five-stars-plus.

Had a very poor experience trying to collect keys to my first house with the Downham Market branch. We were due to complete on a Friday but called ahead to let them know we'd be over Saturday afternoon to collect keys. When called on completion day I alerted a 2nd member of staff we'd be coming Saturday afternoon and not right away. We'd be driving from Oxford (3 hours away) so wanted to make sure they were definitely expecting us.

She was very nice , kind and professional☺️🤝. She offered us a virtual tour, which was really helpful because we lived 4hours away and had a baby. When it came to moving in and settling ,she went above and beyond for us, gave us a mini tour of Ipswich town followed by a customised list of things to do in and around Ipswich….where to find what and not forgetting an Abbott house warming gift🎁.To say the least , my spouse and I were impressed. Whenever you need to have a repair done they just take forever to sort it out and sometimes I have had to just do it myself like the time my 4yo daughter window on our ground floor flat wouldn't close properly letting in freezing temperatures into her room. Or the time water was leaking out under the sink and constantly having to empty a bucket for weeks. They honestly don't give a dam about the people renting from them.

I went for a flat viewing. It was conducted by a lovely, knowledgable woman. Afterwards, I had some questions I'd like answered and left an email. I got a call the next day promising I'd get my answers. 3 weeks later, nothing. I've left an email and 2 voice messages. I've also discovered the flat is now up for rent, which begs the question has it actually been sold, and the new owners are renting. In that case, why is the flat still up for sale, and why did no one have the decency to let me know. They're lovely at the beginning of the process, but once you actually want to get involved in the process, absolutely nothing from them.EDIT: After contacting customer support, I finally got an answer, that was apologetic.

I would give 0 if I could. Absolutely disgusted with the service and no one seems to care. I selected the full management fee as I am heavily pregnant and did not want to have to deal with the management of letting my property. So far all I have done is have to make phone calls, chase incompetent people up or arrange things myself. Have yet to see any invoices despite requesting them, have been lied to about dates work has been completed, work carried out without any authorisation for the cost from myself… the list goes on. 34 weeks pregnant and horrifically stressed.

GoogleI recently selected Wish 2 Sell as the agents to sell my property, and I am so glad I did. Adam and Kevin have been nothing but professional, friendly and extremely helpful.
As a first time seller, this is all new to me, so finding someone who is patient to deal with my specific needs and provide reassurance was key.
I’d heard some stories from some of the other well known agents around Peterborough, you don’t get that personal touch and the fees are astronomical but this is not the case here!
I am so pleased I decided to give Wish 2 Sell a try and my luck most definitely paid off.
Their website is very useful and user friendly too.
Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fuss free, professional sale.

I am writing to confirm the withdrawal of our offer for the purchase of the above premises.From the outset your service has been nothing short of appalling, firstly you neglected to mention in any of your sale advertisements that this property is a 'listed building', you also didn’t mention that this premises is in a conservation area, the first we knew of these very important details was when our own solicitor informed us some weeks into negotiations!Your customer service is nonexistent, even today (like on so many previous occasions - for example last Thursday - no return call) (today is Tuesday) you haven’t returned my call.You have left me no alternative other than to seek a purchase elsewhere with a reputable agent.In order that others may be deterred, and not subjected to such a horrendous experience - which has resulted in a significant cost to me, I am sending a copy of this email to your head office to advise them how you run your branch!!

My son is using these to sell his house but as i live there all visits were to be arranged with me. Yesterday a surveyor had arranged to come but i was not given a time, my son told me they would give him a time before the visit. I work regular nights and to my horror just after 9am someone started coming up the stairs towards my bedroom shouting hello.They had given the keys to the surveyor to let himself in but what is more odd is why was he making his way upstairs to the bedrooms.I rang to complain cant get them to answer the phone, i rang and have emailed their head office 3 times but no reply.They couldnt care less i am living with the key and furniture piled up against the door considering getting the locks changed or phoning the police.I am a disabled person extremely vulnerable in my own home.No way would i give this firm any business they have no professional standards and shouldnt be allowed to operate

Like others, if I could give zero stars I would. I made an appointment to view a flat to rent with Damian at 5pm from the Ipswich branch. He simply never turned up and when I phoned him he claimed that he had found out earlier that day that it had been let through another agent. He didn't try and contact me - no phone call, no text, no email and in this day and age that is unforgiveable. The excuse was that he was busy-guess what, we are all busy!!!!! TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL, AVOID THIS AGENCY
