We decided last summer to move house, so we started to casually look around. Dreading the hard sell that usually comes along with house viewings, we were not looking forward to meeting the agents. From the very first moment of meeting Jamie from Jacob Steele Findon branch at a property, we felt like we had a partner rather than a transaction. Jamie was warm, friendly and interested in us and what we were looking for. He was keen to talk through every aspect of our thinking, as well as add to it from his experience. I lost track of how many houses we saw with Jamie, Jo, James and Laura, but every time, we felt like it was a real positive experience. This made it easy for us to decide who to go with to sell, and we were very impressed with the care and detail Jo and Laura went in listing our house, informing us of who was coming to see it, and what position they were in etc... We sold quite quickly, at a price we were happy with, and feel they advised us perfectly in this respect. All the time we were viewing houses, Jamie kept suggesting a property that we had discounted online already- we eventually gave in and viewed it and fell in love - Jamie had taken the time to get to know us and our family and knew that we would love it, and didn't give up. We have him to thank for our new home that we are just settling into now. The whole team are amazing - but I must also single out Jo, who managed a VERY difficult 9 house chain, which was hugely problematic that culminated in an exchange and completion in the same day to get it to work, not ideal, but she managed it perfectly, including messages during the evenings, weekends, sunday nights and early morning, all to get it to work for everyone, she cared about us all in the chain as well, she was having as many sleepless nights as we were, and we cannot thank her enough.

We recently completed on the sale of a property in Findon Valley and the service we received from the Findon Branch of Jacob Steel was outstanding. With dealt with Laura, the Deputy Manager, principally and to a lesser degree the Manager, Jo. Both were very professional, friendly and supportive in getting the transaction over the line despite the best efforts of our solicitors to seemingly frustrate the process at every opportunity. Laura was committed from the outset and, despite the long and arduous journey to completion over 6 months, she remained professional and accommodating, striving to do whatever she could to facilitate the sale. She went above and beyond and took it upon herself to personally deliver original documents to the buyer's solicitors given the issues we were having with our solicitors. Well done. You are a credit to the profession and I have no hesitation on recommending you to would be clients. Thank you so much.

5 Stars is simply not enough! The service provided by Lauren, Jo and Jamie at Jacobs Steel Findon was both professional and personal. Not once did we feel like just another client, we were always made to feel important and that they truly cared about our sale and our purchase. We were originally selling our Rustington property via different estate agents who gave us false promises that due to their location they would be the best company to help us sell our house. After many sale attempts by numerous Rustington estate agents we decided to appoint Jacobs Steel Findon, to take over our sale as we had built a fantastic relationship with them as they were already looking after our purchase. This was the best decision we could have made, Lauren took on our case and worked relentlessly to get it across the line. Lauren Sherman is by far the BEST estate agent that we have ever used and we would not use anyone else when we go to sell our property. She's completely honest with her clients and wont sugar coat anything which so many estate agents tend to do. If anyone is considering selling their house please go into Jacobs Steel, and ask for a valuation. After meeting anyone from their team you will know that you are in good hands. Jo runs an incredible team that will give you no doubt that they will pull your sale across the line, they are friendly, hardworking and extremely professional. They always answer their phones no matter how stressful or frustrating your sale or purchase becomes. This may be quite a long review, but we can honestly not promote the Jacobs Steel Findon office enough. They really need to start up an office in Rustington, as the estate agency industry needs more Lauren's, Jo's and Jamie's.

Wow, what a team. I had met the team at Jacobs Steel Landing,who were fantastic. I then contacted Findon regarding a property they had on their books. They could not have worked harder to find me my ideal home. Nothing was too much trouble. Didn't matter how many questions I asked they were very reactive. The Findon branch couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. From our first viewing of the property a second was arranged with the developer and we were even invited to meet the neighbours. Not withstanding a property registration issue with a local solicitor the team made sure we met the exchange deadline chasing all parties concerned to achieve it. Without a doubt the most helpful estate agents I have ever dealt with. We recently bought a property through Jacob Steel Findon and from the very first viewing to the extremely stressful last few weeks, they were nothing short of marvelous in how they navigated our way through. What can I say! What a fantastic service from start to finish! From our initial meeting with Jo on day 1 she listened to what we wanted and used her experience to guide us. Our property had been on the market with another agent for 3 months prior to using Jacobs Steel and in that time we had 3 viewings. When we went live Jo lived up to what she had said and by the close of day 1 we had 10 viewings lined up for the week! The house was added on Monday and by the Wednesday it had been sold! From there on we dealt with Jamie who kept us updated constantly and was always on hand to help going above and beyond on more than one occasion. We used Jacobs Steel as part of a sale and purchase, with the Findon office as our house purchase. We cannot rate Jo and the team highly enough. Our purchase was made difficult because of our initial sale being slow due to our lower chain, with its eventual collapse and the delays that ensued in trying to find a new buyer and start the process again. However the demonstration of the teams communication with our vendor, keeping our purchase alive, managing expectations and supporting us throughout was invaluable. All the team were incredibly welcoming, knowledgable and supportive with our purchase. Communication is key and they all excelled in this. We are all so grateful to the Findon office for assisting us in buying what we consider our home for life. Without them, I’m not sure we would have had a successful outcome. I would choose Jacobs Steel again, should the need ever arise, without a second thought and would have no trouble in recommending them to anyone looking to sell or purchase their homes.
