GoogleGot in contact with Homewise after my grandad was recommended to look into the plan by a friend of his, due to the age we thought we should check it over to make sure it was legit and that he had been told the right info. Called and spoke to the team who were so informative and helpful, they were very good at reassuring us. Especially helping with the whole chain. It made things so easy. Very good Thank you

I received helpful advice and guidance. I had e-mailed regarding a property that I had seen and asked about how the discount was calculated and a bespoke lease as there are 3 of us hoping to move. The lady I spoke to (K) was lovely, explained the process and all the information that would be required. She listened to my concerns and e-mailed me later to confirm details. Excellent service. Recently spoke to homewise on behalf of my Nan who is looking to move after the passing of my granddad. With the house prices rising and living on a state pension she was concerned she wouldn’t be able to afford to live in her current property alone, so we were able to speak to homewise which offers an alternative to her. She can keep back money from the sale of her house to live in comfortably and still live an inheritance to us kids. Because of her boosted budget she can even look at moving closer to us! My mother needs to get her kitchen redone and the double glazing fixed so that it’s more cost-effective now that everything has gone up. I’ve looked at equity release for her, but the amount she can borrow has gone down and the rates are so expensive now. I did a bit of research and found Homewise, so I called them. They answered all my questions and gave me a lot of very helpful information. I think their product could be the right solution for her because it will allow her to get more money released by moving home and leasing for life. Homewise is a very clever solution for people that don’t want to take on expensive debt in their old age.

GoogleI have given them 5 stars for the care, time and persistence in helping you buy a house in its entirety.They could teach some estate agents on customer care.Regular weekly phone calls keep you updated and the majority of the time your only dealing with up to 2 people. If you want security in later life these people will try and help.

I did some research into the Home for Life Plan as wanted to free up some funds to some work on my house to help my son with a house deposit. We are not planning to move currently, so it is not the right option for me. The person I spoke to was very helpful and talked me through the whole concept. I have to say I had no idea that there was such a clever solution available to help people release funds, keep a financial share in the property and secure a home for life. I felt I had to write a review because the company and product really impressed me.

My friend moved to Portugal about 10 years ago, but last year decided they wanted to come back and found that their property wasn’t worth anywhere near what they thought it would be. They’re both retired and live off their pension so I did a bit of research to find out if there was anything that could help and found Homewise. My friend called them to find out more. The Home for Life Plan gave them the lifeline they needed and in January they’re moving back to the UK.

With the price of everything going up so much I want to move somewhere easier to manage and less expensive to run, maybe a new build. I’ve found a few properties while searching, but they’re all more than I can afford. A friend of mine moved with Homewise a couple of years ago and when I told them about my problem they recommended it, saying it was the best decision they’d made. I did some research and called them straight away. They helped me to find a really nice new build that doesn’t need any work doing, which is a huge relief. Thank you, Homewise.

I retire in a few years, and I know that my pension pot isn’t quite as big as I’d like so I’ll probably have to downsize to cut costs, it would also be great to have some money put by. I got a letter from Homewise and initially it seemed like it was too good to be true, but then I called them. They explained everything about their Home for Life Plan to me and knowing that there is something available for me when I’m ready to retire is actually quite reassuring.

We used this service for our parents, who were still in the family home which was too big for just the two of them, and they still had some mortgage left, which none of us were in a position to pay off. We talked everything through with them, and they included us all, explaining the lease info and it seemed a logical step for mum and dad. They could sell the house, pay off the mortgage, move nearer to us and have a bit of money put by. We took our time as a family to look for options, but we can honestly say this has worked out perfectly for the whole family and we couldn't be happier. Thanks for all your help!

I researched the Homewise option way before my 60th birthday because my personal circumstances reduced my retirement saving target when I was medically retired. As I have no blood relatives Homewise is the perfect solution for me and I am now living in a bungalow I would not have been able to afford had I used my savings in the traditional way. From day 1 I felt totally supported every step of the way and the whole timeline of finding a property to actually moving in was and felt totally controlled and supported. If the Homewise process fits your circumstances and you enter the process with your eyes open and fully informed it is an excellent way to find your retirement dream home. Do your homework and be sure you understand the implications of what you are doing and it’s an excellent option.

GoogleMy elderly in-laws have been looking for a property closer to us and with somewhat limited budget they didn't have too many options. My partner came across Homewise listing on Rightmove and we called up to find out how does the plan work. We arranged for Homewise to also speak to my in-laws in the meantime and they were pleasantly surprised how kind and patient the customer representative was.

GoogleOur whole experience with Homewise was wonderful. We have a beautiful bungalow and a super nest egg to cushion our future. Every week I spoke with Samuel Stevens my rock. Always cheerful, always consoling when things went wrong. I shall miss my chats with him. Also Rhoda a calming and lovely lady. They were with us every step of the way.
