A month since completion

We have had the keys to our Longford, plot 76, for a month, and in that time, Stuart, the site manager at Vickers Grange has been amazing. He has given advise to us, been round immediately to answer any questions and even recommended trades people. Cannot recommend Gleeson enough, the build quality is exceptionally and so is the site team.

IF YOU WANT A PEACE OF MIND THEN AVOID…

IF YOU WANT A PEACE OF MIND THEN AVOID GLESSON.Moved into my property in December 2021and the bricks to my garage its in a complete MESS, I spoke to the Site Manager and he said this happens because it was built while it was raining ( that's none of my business) it just need sorting out and he promised to get it sorted. I showed the garage to the customer service team Manager and she agreed with me it need sorting out and advise I raise it on myglesson which I did but to my surprise it was decline with a comment not a defect as advised by same site manager who promised to get it sorted for me in the first place.I had no Internet for few months as Glesson haven't done the right thing with the council and Glesson advised to get a dongle and they will cover my monthly cost if I send them the invoice . Sent the invoice to the customer service team for months and still haven't got the money back, sent an email to Customer service manager and still nothing have been done.Raised an issue with socket not working in my kitchen only for a gentle man to turn up few days later and couldn't fix it but told me his not an Electrician and his just been ask to come check it. Still waiting for someone to fix it till date. Glesson is a complete waste of time !!!! SAY NO TO GLESSON

To the Back bone Mouricia, the Smart Louise and the master of all buildings Mo. Very positive experience. If it was not for Mouricia We wouldn’t have owned Liffey today at Northside. We waited for the site for a whole year and witnessed Gleeson put up the first stone. As always we are still excited for our new house. Mouricia and Louise responded back to my queries promptly helping in smooth operations. Mo is a great guy and deserves alot for his understanding and hard work. Louise is great situational handler. James the CEO of Gleeson is a down to earth and decent guy. Mouricia deserves a place in top benches of Gleeson as she posses great team leading skills. Bought a Fergus at park Avenue what fantastic service we have received from the sales staff Tammy head office staff and of course the builders and the site manager. I think people need realise its a man made product and there are going to be problems but most of them are being sorted now. We have really enjoyed the whole experience and are very happy with our Gleeson home. Gleeson should be very proud of the staff that work or support the park Avenue Development as the sales manager and Beth and Tammy was helping with the cleaning to get a house ready for a customer was lovely to see the support they give. Also the site manager is very approachable and helpful.

Gleeson Kilkenny 2022 - bought through Forces Property Direct

We reserved our Gleeson Kilkenny in February 2022 with the help of Forces Property Direct. From the moment we reserved our plot, Adam (Sales) kept us fully informed of the progress with our build, helped us pick our options and answered any questions we needed advice on. We completed in May 2022 instead of June so we were pleasantly surprised to be moving into our new home earlier than planned. We picked up a couple of small things on home demo day which were sorted before we moved in. This really set the precedent for things moving forward and Simon (Site Manager) has been extremely helpful throughout the whole moving-in process. Any issues we've had, he's rectified straight away, nothing is too much trouble for him. We are now almost a month after moving in and are very happy in our new home at the Sutton Heights development, a huge thanks to Adam, Simon and Dan, they are a credit to Gleeson Homes. *An added note, all of the issues we've experienced have been minor and just small things you might expect with a new build home.

It was exciting to reserve 2 bed property with Gleeson, booking process was really smooth and supportive. Great thanks to Victoria for making it easy. I was just little disappointed on 2 things1. No carpeting/ flooring is included in new built home otherwise expectation was home should be ready to move in.2. House extension conservatory is not permitted that in my case was desperately needed. Honestly? Shocking. With a two year warranty on the house. Still nothing will get repaired or fix. As emails indicate they “assume” it’s the home owners fault. - ceiling came through (my fault) - patio doors (15 months in. Now having a 3rd party come out and fix again) -master bedroom windows faulty. -front door faulty - 4 radiators fell off. -brickwork shocking. -bathroom tiles came off when I was in the bath. -(declined to fix so had to fix and pay myself) PLEASE DONT GO WITH GLEESON. ITS NOT WORTH, the hassle, time and money wasted. My site has had about 4 site managers. With these problems they lied about someone having a “7 hour check” on the house. Mine was actually missed. There was only 3 houses built at first and couldn’t be bothered to check mine. I was away with work and family members had to grab the keys. They didn’t realise they had to check the property with great detail. It’s a shame, everyone in my estate is complaining and nothing is being done.

I recently purchased a house from Safair Home in Liverpool, and unfortunately, it has been a very disappointing experience. From the start, the company has failed to meet basic standards in several critical areas.1. Poor Quality of ConstructionThe quality of the construction is far below what was promised. There are numerous defects in the property, and it feels like cheap materials were used throughout. It's frustrating to see corners cut on such an important investment.2. Unprofessional ServiceThe customer service has been extremely unprofessional. Whenever I raised concerns about the issues, I was met with unresponsive and unhelpful staff. Getting any follow-up or action from the company has been a struggle, and it seems like they are not interested in solving the problems.3. Lack of Skilled LaborThe work done on the house appears to have been carried out by unskilled laborers. This is evident in the poor finishes and the number of issues that have emerged shortly after moving in. It’s clear that the workers lacked experience, and this has affected the overall quality of the home.4. No AccountabilityWhat makes this experience even more frustrating is the company’s lack of accountability. Despite multiple complaints, no one from Safair Home has taken responsibility or made any serious effort to address the issues.Overall, I would not recommend Safair Home to anyone looking to buy a property. The stress and frustration of dealing with their poor-quality work and unprofessional service have made this a regrettable purchase.
