PROPERTY CENTRE GLOUCESTER

My husband and I bought our property through the property centre three years ago, everything went fine with that. πŸ‘Œ Since then I've been looking for a property as an investment,I've looked at a few with them, however I've put in an offer with another company on a property and hopefully I now will proceed to buy, throughout my time searching(which has been a long haul trying to buy)I have been able to contact both Leon from the abbeymead branch and Lee from the longlevens branch Gloucester just to ask advice on certain things and even though they've been extremely busy they've made time to chat with me and call me back if they were busy,i think that speaks volumes considering I haven't purchased with them this time 😊 Thankyou very much guys for your help, you've been a great help,I will be in touch next spring when we come to sell our present home and move up to a bigger property.πŸ‘Œ

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE PROPERTY CENTRE IN…CHELTENHAM

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE PROPERTY CENTRE IN CHELTENHAM From start to finish Barney, Rachel, Oliver and all the amazing staff have kept me updated and informed with what ever was going on with my forever home, so very professional the whole process from selling my home to buying a new one they were brilliant. I also used their in-house solicitors which was organised and the property centre kept me updated, informed and checking relevant paperwork had been done, such a smooth and stress free experience can’t Thankyou all enough would highly recommend.

I wouldn't even give them 1 star…

I wouldn't even give them 1 star however I had to in order to write this review. The staff are extremely unprofessional, and we are being served a section 21 eviction after we have reported mould in the place several times and requested we end the tenancy early due to our flat being inhabitable. They tried to say we must pay for many expenses that aren't even in our tenancy agreement such as a visual electrical test, a portion of the landlords reletting fees, rent and utility bills until another tenant moves in, if we want to leave early. They had no remorse for the conditions we're living in and slapped us with many fees that aren't justifiable. We are sleeping on the floor in the living room; they took over a month to fix our bedroom window where the handle broke due to rotting away (we have evidence for anyone who wishes to see it), making the bedroom unusable as we would wake up during the night with mouldy water dripping onto us from the ceiling. They are blaming us for the mould when its in fact a structural issue as our flat has no bathroom door, no bathroom window and an extraction fan that doesn't work. We will now have our deposit taken away from us and any chance at a reference for a future letting because they would rather blame us. Also, they are serving us a section 21 eviction and 2 months notice, when our contract ends in 2 months anyway? Bottom line, they will not help their tenants. Very conservative company that have no remorse for the working class renters, but will look after those wanting to buy and sell.

I wish I had read these reviews before…

I wish I had read these reviews before picking an estate agent to sell our house and help us find somewhere to move into. They sold our house within 2 working days of it going on the market. However when it came to helping us to find a property that came on the market within our price range we received nothing. We know that houses came on the market within our price range and were advertised with them but we were not given the heads up about the property so we were unaware of any potential houses to buy or even view. We rang them at least 4 times and told them we had received nothing from them and we were told they would update the other branches of our property search but still nothing happened. Each time we called them we also found out that our details had not been updated. We have now come to a point where we have been priced out of the market and we need to withdraw from the sale of our house and pay the full amount to an estate agent who has only done half a job.

Please make everybody aware of these rogue landlords and letting agent. Never deal with The Property Centre or the landlords at 52a Rookery Road, Innsowrth. Issues will never get sorted as the landlords agreed that they can't afford to fix the issues (I have this in writing) and they clearly don't care about the property. With regards to the property centre I would keep clear from them. They won't help out with any issues, they will tell you that you are being unreasonable for not removing stuff the homeowners should be removing (this was the lettings department manager from the property centre head office). We are now having endless issues now that we have handed the keys back, the propertyis in a better state than when we got it and we painted the whole house at our own costs. Please spread the word and avoid these people as your time at the property will be hell through not fault of your own! I am happy to give more information if requested.

Highly recommended

I have just purchased my property through The Property Centre, Cheltenham and found every member of their team to be extremely helpful and professional. They were constantly chasing up solicitors for all parties in the chain and when I couldn’t find an available removal company in my area (I was moving from West London to Cheltenham) they emailed me a list of local recommended removal companies and I was able to book one straight away. I would definitely recommend them

Slow with maintenance

They do answer messages quickly but are slow at getting any thing fixed. I have been telling them for two years that the top of the garage needs fixing, it’s been months since we’ve had our lights working in the living room and months since I told them the switch for the shower isn’t working.

Avoid - Do not use

Avoid with all cost - They will maliciously try to grab your deposit regardless. I was a tenant for 2 years in one of their properties and had 4 people come to help clean the property for exit interview. We used an industrial carpet cleaner .Cleaned every surface to a standard way higher than when we entered. Any person with a pair of eyes can compare the pictures they took for the inventory to begin with and see how dirty and disgusting the property was when we moved in (not even hoovered, windows covered in dirt and mould) and how we left it and see we did them a favour. Now they're trying to claw almost all our deposit to redecorate and clean the property! What a joke! The property wasn't even decorated when we moved in (walls painted over old marking and stains with a DIFFERENT COLOR OF PAINT, washed over and streaky everywhere white on top of yellow). Disgusting behavior, specifically Julie Curran, Stay well away! You'd think a larger company would be more professional, but as i can see with other reviews this is a common theme. Thieves ------------------------------------ Update: The Resolution service saw through their lies. Jog on you thieves

I used the property centre once and never again! they are all nice while you are going through the process of renting but as soon as you move in everything changes! we rented a house which had a serious problem with mould and leaking which we were not made aware of, seeing as I was pregnant at the time the decent thing to do was tell me. fast forward time and plenty of times of reporting issues my baby was born and due to these problems I lived downstairs, they are a waste of space and have no time for you as soon as you have signed on the dotted line. avoid at all costs!

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs! They will scam you out of your deposit. Poor customer service and exorbitant fees for tenants. All round bad experience. I was a tenant with this company for almost a year (property directly managed by them). I have three comments which contribute to the 1 star rating: 1. Application fees/tenant fees are extremely high, well over Β£350 to get a flat is just ridiculous and explotive of people who can only afford to rent 2. We had an "inspection" where my partner was in the property. The inspector had disgraceful manners, lost their temper and acted extremely unprofessional. When we pointed problems with the flat they were not helpful and blamed us 3. When we left the property (in a better state than we found it) they took Β£120 from the deposit for "cleaning". Never provided a receipt or evidence that the money was spent, and avoided communication Go with any other letting agency than this!

Such a different feel to other agents

Such a different feel to other Estate Agents, I felt like they actually cared about finding me a suitable property and they kept in frequent contact with me to make sure we were on the same page. I am now settled into my new home and couldn't be happier! Thankyou so much The Property Centre.

Always ask for Hannah!

Awesome experience with this team. From James getting the house on the market and sold quickly to Hannah where the real work had to be done! Cannot fault her! Went above and beyond what her job is to push this sale through. Would 100% use them again.

Good morning, I have concerns about using TPC after doing a little light research. As suggested yesterday with our meeting with Scott that 'all listings on right move are premium' and 'always have a floor plan, which is essential' I have been looking this morning online and there are numerous property's listed with TPC without floor plans and are not premium listings! Furthermore I'm not sure what procedures are in place but to be told "you stay with the mortgage advisor while I look around your house" was rather rude and totally unacceptable. I have never met Scott before but he wanted free rein to walk about our house in rooms upstairs totally un-escourted. In my view this is certainly NOT normal procedure when other valuers have been around to our property. I would like to know why he thought it OK to wander freely in our home?! We had also booked to view a house with TPC this evening and learned via your ipad PowerPoint last night "we get you loads of viewing" but we've just found out 6hours beforehand, Sorry we can't gain access to the property. (Certainly not good for your weekly viewing target) Thus giving us a lack of confidence in TPC which is further reinforced by a lack to secure a sale 12 months ago with a previous house, with us wanting to buy immediately but TPC could not pull their finger out quick enough to confirm a sale, we looked else where and completed per the time scale, couldn't bite the hand off potential business back then?!. Perhaps your team could focus on people rather than stats and figures which was rather abruptly drummed into us last night by an ill engaged PowerPoint where a polite face to face conversation would have sufficed, and without the need to constantly compare his 'performance' and TPC to previous valuers and their strategies. Forget TPC it's more like TCP.... smells funny and leaves a bad after taste. Please do enlighten me as to why Scott felt it OK to wander around our house. I look forward to hearing from you (and not in a presentation format) Regards R&F

We have recently used the Worcester branch for our house sale and the team have been brilliant! Josh and Mike in particular were really helpful to us. Nothing was too much trouble and the whole team were happy to answer any questions that we had. They worked hard to get us the best price for our property and once we were sold they referred us to Chloe who dealt with things from there! She kept us updated every week and was able advise when needed! They made the whole experience a little less stressful! I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering selling a property! Thank you guys we really appreciated all of your help!

My partner and I used The Property Centre for both the sale and purchase of a house over the last few months and we can only give them the highest praises. We dealt with the Quedgeley office with the sale of my house, and the Churchdown office with the purchase of our new property, and all staff we encountered at both branches were absolutely superb. No matter what queries we had, they went beyond my expectations to help out, and were friendly and informative throughout the entire process. Special thanks must go to James at the Quedgeley branch, and both Emily and Poppy at the Churchdown branch - all are great assets to The Property Centre. I would also like to mention that sales progression agents at The Property Centre head office were also very helpful and kept me in the loop with informative weekly updates. An excellent experience all round that would make me highly recommend The Property Centre to anyone else looking to buy or sell their home.

Many thanks to the Quedgeley Branch team led by James , Helped us in all aspects with regards to buying our first property a few years ago. Recently with our family growing and needing more rooms and space it was a no-brainer on who we could entrust with the daunting task that lay ahead. Not only did Mark the Sales Manager find us a suitable buyer within 24 hours but also left us spoilt for choice in relation to the bigger properties they had for sale. They helped us negotiate great deals, Kept us in the loop through out the different stages to the very end. Thanks a bunch mark, James, Jackie, tia, Sharon and younger James. Keep up the good work :-)

I want to say thank you to the Worcester office for helping me sell my house. I actually thought all estate agents were the same, but I got that wrong. As soon as I explained my situation, 3 members of the team came to look at the house. They took incredible pictures which immediately saw the amount of online viewings quadruple compared to the previous estate agent. They gave feedback on every viewing and I didn't have to chase them once...anybody that has sold a house will know how valuable a quality this is. I cant recommend the team enough.
