Herdip was absolutely amazing in helping me secure my dream flat. With me in transition between two countries and not always having every document to hand, she was incredibly patient, understanding, and helpful in finding solutions. I got a call from SFE that asked me to upload an evidence that I lived in one of the properties from Whitegates, for my student finance checked my email I realised my both surnames are missing and another surname has been given to me. Called up and told them the situation, they didn’t care and said these nothing they can do about it. Point 1 you never cared since we send all the documents over and passport before moving into on of your property and registration 2 I’ll be making sure to report this so it won’t happen again to another person Ridiculous

privately renting off whitegates for nearly 5 months now and have not had a working shower since the day i moved in and have mould and damp throughout every single room in the flat. emailed everything to herdip mutiple times with photos too and was told she was on it and again and again still nothing has come from it. i have now not heard from anyone within the whitegates agency since the 3rd of december 2025 and it’s now the 17th of february 2026 i still have all the issues in the flat and they are just getting worse and unliveable to be around. when moving you in they answer within seconds of emailing and help you right out, getting money off you and making sure your in the property, all up until the first house inspection and then nothing, completely ghost after that, no help from anyone. they give you a great first impression moving in, making you think they are going to help you if you ever have any issues but that’s wrong there is no help from them at all.

Toilet was leaking and it took them over 6 months to fix. Ended up costing me about 200 quid when my water bill came through. Got no discount from my rent. Hot water stopped working on the 23rd December, didnt send anyone out unitl 30th December and all he did was reset the thermostat. Hot water went again lastnight. Honestly id avoid them. Communication is very poor on there end, they hassle and hound you for rent and rises but don't really care enough if you have issues.
