Pathetic excuse for an estate agent!

Pathetic excuse for an estate agent!! ****AVOID AT ALL COSTS****So untrustworthy, when renting with this company they have tried to steel money from me and my family, making up lies and not telling the truth about already existing damage inside the property, we think that they are working alongside their own inventory clarks and may have a deal in place to rip people offWe will be going to the media about this!!!!

Avoid this company in renting from…

Avoid this company in renting from them.Nearly 4 weeks since moving outnof one of the managed properties & still no deposit back.No deductions have been agreed & all I get from Romans is stalling tactics in not repaying This might sound a small problem to some, but in my mind it's totally unacceptable. However I am about to seek legal advice on this matter.

The letting department were genuinely amazing!!!

My partner and I have recently moved in to a property with the help of Amanda from Romans and she couldn’t have made the process any easier for us. Unfortunately, there was a slight hiccup towards the end where Romans weren’t at fault, yet she swiftly sorted the issue for us. Any questions we had, she was there to answer straight away and there wasn’t a moment where we were left in the dark at all. Her frequent communication with us was so so helpful seeing as this was the first time we had moved out and she made it feel easy. If you’re going to rent through Romans, definitely ask for Amanda! I couldn’t recommend her enough!

I have been kept in the loop at all times and been offered sound and practical advice. Definitely would recommend as a property management agency.

Romans are fantastic!

Absolutely unbelievable experience from Romans. We were with Tim Russ and had 4 viewings in 4 months (2 of which I did myself) and then we went with Romans. Aduel came over and we had a long chat and from what he promised I thought we’d go with them. He got people through the door, end of. We had plenty of viewings and within 4 months we are exchanged and completed. FANTASTIC communication, always willing to have a chat or come to our house to speak about things and when the offer came in they kept us up to date with every single step of the process. 1000% recommended if you really want to sell your house. THANKS SO MUCH ROMANS!!

Me and my wife spoke to the lettings team in about our problem tenant (not through Romans but another local agent) and they gave us some really helpful, solid advice even though we were not their landlords. Will definitely be using their services once we have our property back as their knowledge of lettings was far greater than our current agent. We were even offered tea and coffee which we thought was a nice touch!

We do not recommend Romans as letting…

We do not recommend Romans as letting agents. There are so many 'add on' fees and charges. It was impossible to speak to anyone, who could help us. It took six months, after our tenants had moved out, to receive reimbursement for the damages caused to our property. We would not use Romans, to let out our property, again.

Nothing was too much trouble including negotiation! Very easy process during what is normally a very stressful time. Buying or selling house is emotional , so it is very important that your estate agency understands how you are feeling. Daniel gave me constant advise, offered help in every step. Romans is a great agency! They have been always very helpful and responsive to all my queries. They even managed to do an online viewing of the property via Skype which was very much appreciated! I like that rental properties offered via their website are usually fully managed and in very good conditions. Me and my husband had a great experience with Romans when looking for our first flat. I'd especially like to point out how dedicated and professional Holly from the Wokingham branch was. She was patient with all our questions, followed up after every viewing and was very timely in her commitment - she didn't hesitate to go out of her way to show us different flats and found alternatives when necessary. We'll definitely be using Romans again and will recommend it to our friends!
