After visiting Hat & Home to talk about renting my property, i was surprised at the profesional yet relaxed atmosphere their office had. Fast forward and i was fully invested in using them to market my property. Once the inital vists, pictues and paperwork had been completed all with little to no fuss and not to mention they worked around my working from home set up aswell, I was told that they had clients in mind and would be in touch.... Needless to say, later that day Ben's team had secured an entire days worth of viewings and the property was agreed and let by the end of the viewing day. They have since advised on additonal services for cleaning & inventory and mangaed them all. Short of them packing my belongings, Hat & Home have absoultey shocked me with what i thougth was going to be a stressful process! i cant recommend them enough. Massive shout out to all of the team and especailly Liz who is always that one step ahead.

It started with me checking online for estate agents located in Wokingham (Winnersh area) to let out my property. Many came up. I’ve always had a slight bias for the smaller franchises - companies that don’t necessarily have national or nationwide coverage, but those that are local because I think they know their communities better. I contacted the offices of 7 estate agencies via email. Hat and Home, and 2 others were the only ones that responded within a day. Prior to that, I had never heard of Hat and Home, but then came Ms Liz Gamlen. Personally, Liz endeared herself to me because of her tenacity, attention to detail and intuitive professionalism about retail home lettings. She many times went above the call of duty by taking time to explain the simple, small, large and/or complex details to me. Her singular commitment to match the most competitive rates, and her knowledge of the subject-matter also played a huge role in my decision to narrow Hat and Home as the 2 agents to market my property for lease. Liz continued to give me candid advice, be it bitter or sweet, even as she knew there was a chance her agency could not be shortlisted. Within 2 days of signing Hat and Home, Liz responded with a flurry of potential tenants. Eventually, we settled for one of her very first finds after a thorough search and series of reference reviews. I’m happy to have used the services of Hat and Home. I will give them my highest approval for all things Lettings services (from cradle to grave). And for anyone looking to assign an individual for bespoke letting services, Liz comes highly recommended. Shes absolutely appreciated for her stellar experience and qualities.

We moved into our flat Mid September time, and Hat and Home were by far the best estate agents we’ve dealt with, having been with 2 sub par agents previously. Annie helped us with our move, and was very professional and helpful throughout the whole process - it was a nice personal touch and she was more than happy to answer any questions and ease our minds on any problems we had, even post move in day. As an oversea landlord, you want to know that you are letting your property to a trusted and reliable property manager. You want to know that your property is in safe hands and that its maintenance and up keep will be taken care of at the same standard of care and level of detail as if you were there supervising it yourself. You want reassurance that the new tenants that are moving into your property are the best 'fit' for your requirements.
