Thank you for your review. I’m really sorry if our approach to your renewal seemed unduly pressured. The importance of ensuring the renewal documents are processed as soon as possible is to protect our client from suffering a void period if a tenant decides to vacate at the last minute. You may feel that we carry out this process a little early however we feel it is important for our client to be fully aware of their tenants intentions at the earliest opportunity. Unfortunately whilst we would love to take a verbal commitment to renew at face value, experience has taught us that we need to ensure we are in receipt of signed documents Our renewal fees are laid out at the beginning of the tenancy and are written in to the tenancy agreement so this is a charge that you should already be aware of. We do take into account the level of renewal fees charged locally and believe our fees are reasonable. The fee is only charged if a new tenancy is negotiated.
