I've reached out to Parkers a few times as I was looking for a property to rent. I spoke to an agent who was really unfriendly.. made me feel like they weren't interested in me as a possible tenant for their properties. No follow ups, did not even ask for my details incase a new property comes up. Somehow it feels like they are particular with their tenants and feel like customer service could improve.

The process had also changed since I had last rented a property but Klara was extremely kind, reassuring and helpful through the entire process. She was always very quick to reply to any queries, concerns or messages I had. She was always so polite, happy, positive and kind when speaking either on the phone or via email. She was incredibly helpful and made the whole process of moving which can be stressful much more pleasant and easy. I am very grateful for all her help.

It was a very difficult and stressful time as we were buying during the lockdown but Brendan and Gary were always very available, responsive and helpful. Staggers me that Parker’s win property awards and have many positive reviews. I found staff to be unhelpful, unprofessional and insincere. Their system of reporting maintenance issues only works if you follow up with someone several times. The situation only improved when I said the property was not in a fit place to live in without heating in November! All slow to sort out. I have reason to believe that the property was accessed without our consent for a valuation. We were informed of the intention of a valuation yet never given the time and we found things out of place and doors usually open, shut. When I queried this, no response.Upon moving out, I needed to confirm via a 3rd party I had been paying rent on time for 18+months to secure a new property. Parkers refused to confirm this until I had moved out, not even for the time I had lived at the property already. Had this been Parker’s policy, I may have understood, although argued that it doesn’t help someone looking to move on if you can’t secure another property until completely moved out! You’d have to find a third interim property to get Parker’s confirmation. What was really unbelievable was that Parker’s staff claimed it was the third party verification agent holding things up. I knew this to be untrue as I had just gotten off the phone with them. When I challenged Parker’s, the staff were blunt, rude and in my eyes insincere. All very unprofessional, inflexible and very unhelpful… luckily there was another way to prove you could pay rent yet it meant more admin work for me as the renter. If you look at Parker’s and their services, they clearly always look to serve landlords first before renters. Explains a lot to be honest. Finally, in a separate instance, this time helping a buyer. Parker’s staff sent confidential information to us from a different property and were significantly lower (£15k) in valuation compared to other estate agents.
