Rosie is a true asset to the team and in general I'd say Breckon & Breckon is one of the more personable and considerate agency. Their communication is sincere, they're flexible and actually know about the properties they show. Way too many others would show you a property they've never stepped their foot into and are unable to answer any of your questions, essentially wasting everyone's time. This was not the case with B&B- they knew everything about the property and were proactive in pointing things out themselves too. Definitely recommend!

It took a long while to sell my mum's place due to it needing a very specific type of buyer. Breckon & Breckon were excellent throughout, keeping in regular contact during the protracted sale (down to our buyers having the misfortune of being recommended to use Muve - quite possibly the most useless and incompetent solicitors ever!). In spring 2024 I worked closely with Alex on the purchase of my first home in the Cotswolds. Alex acted on behalf of the seller, but as the principle agent I found him very straight forward, extremely knowledgable and very easy to communicate with. I've just bought my first property and Alex was nothing short of fantastic from start to finish. I sat down with him on Easter Saturday and he took time to explain the properties in my price range detailing some of the pros and cons of each one. Illegally charging for cleaning

We are currently in a dispute over a minute fraction of our deposit, as Breckon and Breckon has charged us for cleaning despite the move in condition and move out condition being near identical. When we asked (several times over several days) for evidence that the cleaning was actually required to return it to the move-in standard, they provided us with a falsified invoice. We discovered it was false based on the metadata edit history, and the letting agent admitted in an email after this that it had in fact just been edited to change what the invoice said.

From start to finish, we cannot express how impressed we’ve been with Breckon & Breckon. At the initial meeting, John arrived with a professional brochure outlining all the key information about our property and clearly explained how he arrived at the valuation. Another huge positive was the app they used to manage appointments, called Street. It was excellent, as we weren’t inundated with calls, and instead received notifications through the app that we could accept in our own time. Finally, the regular check-ins and the availability of Sarah at the office was outstanding. She kept us as updated as possible throughout the months between accepting the offer on our house and exchanging. Highly recommend!

This should be counted as an upper 5 star review. Within the chain, there was a combination of anxious people with crazy demands and people who could only act at a slow pace. Despite this all being covered by multiple agents, Alex in particular had the local knowledge and connections to keep the entire chain on course. I can say that without him, the whole thing would likely have fallen through and he worked really hard to keep this all going through to completion. Alex is a good example of why you need a great estate agent - would wholeheartedly recommend!
