GoogleGrace was super unprofessional and the company lacked effective communication. Grace told myself an apartment was let and when my partner rang that same day and inquired, Grace told her it was available. We strongly felt Yaxley homes discriminated against us. We rang up everyday to chase an apartment we wanted to rent, we qualified all the checks. They long hauled us through the reference period for over a month before they leased the place to someone else without giving us any update on our application. We was meant to be updated three days after our application was submitted. For a month and half we chased this. In addition, the property had immediate move in posted in (April when we sent off our application), and only in June did they get someone to move in. BEWARE!

Sorry you feel this that way, however after reviewing all call logs and communication with you and your partner, it appears you did not call us every day. it also appears that most of the communication was over email. we have your application forms for the property however the invoice and terms have never been signed further more you did not pay a holding fee so you did not pass all the check as this check will not be done until you sign and paid the holding fee. your partner was chased for the information but never replied so we could not hold the property for you and we assumed you was no longer interested. I wish you all the best in your search for a property.

GoogleI’m absolutely disgusted with the service (or lack thereof) provided by Yaxley Homes, particularly by the owner Ricky Lee. He came to do an inspection on our home and, frankly, had nothing nice to say about it. Our home has been lovingly and beautifully maintained, I’ve been off work and have dedicated time and effort into making it a space to be proud of. Instead of recognizing any of this, Ricky nitpicked every minor detail, offering no positive feedback whatsoever.
To make matters worse, he justified his negativity by saying my partner “seemed tired and grumpy” when he arrived, seriously? It felt like he was grasping at straws to find faults that simply weren’t there.
Yaxley Homes also made bold and unfounded claims about us and our lifestyle, which was completely unprofessional and offensive. We had previously reported a broken light fitting in the main bedroom that hadn’t worked since we moved in 7 months ago, yet nothing was done. We had to hire our own contractor to fix it and Yaxley begrudgingly reimbursed us.
Additionally, Ricky called the large gaps under the front and back doors (which let in cold air and pests) “decorative”, what a joke! When my partner called to clarify, the woman on the phone actually hung up on him. Ricky later excused this as her being a “19-year-old apprentice,” as if that’s acceptable. When we expressed our frustration about the entire experience, instead of apologizing, we were met with a long-winded, condescending email reprimanding us for supposedly using “foul language” on the call. This is completely false, my partner and I, along with his employee, were on the call, and there was no foul language used. It was just another example of Yaxley Homes refusing to take responsibility and trying to shift the blame onto us.
All in all, this company’s behavior has been gut-wrenching, disrespectful, and totally unprofessional. I would strongly recommend steering clear of Yaxley Homes and Ricky Lee if you want to save yourself the frustration and disappointment we’ve experienced.

ITS A SHAME YOU HAVE TO LEAVE ONE STAR!
Ricky is completely incompetent & rude! I was told that my buyer was in a position to move in 1 week, 3.5 months later their position hadn’t changed, nor had their position been chased up by the professional, Ricky? I would have thought Ricky, as he’s the owner of Yaxley would have made sure things were on schedule after that week....
After 6 months, yes, 6 MONTHS when the “professional estate agent” Ricky, should have informed us that our property would have gone up in value....but no, he relisted the property at the same price & didn’t even list the property as a new listing?? I said to Ricky, I am changing estate agents & he said he would hold me in the 21 days notice period as, his words,
‘thanks, after all “this work” I don’t get paid’ (very professional) I agreed to 21 days but I would like to remove my property from Rightmove, he declined even though their contract states ‘once notice is give they won’t act for us anymore’. I contacted Rightmove & they said, that’s breach of contract & Rightmove removed my property.
Avoid Ricky really, Gary & Dan are fine, just a shame they are at RELAXKEY!
The funny thing about this is, Ricky is one of these people in life that you get that never say....sorry, I was wrong.....get ready The defensive & the excuses! Drum roll!!

GoogleAttempted to steal some of the deposit for non issues, took over a year to get it all back.
Was given the wrong keys to the property and was unable to contact them for days.
Also slow to respond/fix issues, i.e. the heating in the property was never fixed during my tenancy.
In regards to the response from the owner, the property was a mess when i moved in, the property after moving out was much cleaner than that, and certainly didn't need a professional clean done.
