An estate agent's job is to sell your house. After all that is how they earn their commission...however Garrett & Bradly are so much more than that! They are salesmen yes but they are also mediators, counsellors, sounding boards, flak takers...the list is endless. We were fortunate to meet Jon during a property viewing. My husband had arranged a different agent for the sale of our house but I really liked Jon's natural and non pushy approach. I am incredibly put off by pushy sales people but Jon was polite, approachable and very un estate agent like! We had 2 houses to sell and the first one went extremely smoothly. The second one could not have been more different and my goodness did this company earn their commission! Everyone told me we were unlucky. I wondered what all the fuss was about with the first property sale but with the second I absolutely knew why people say it is the most stressful thing you can do in life. It took 19 months and 4 different buyers before we succeeded. I am naturally pushy, impatient and analytical....not good traits when going through this process! Jon was amazing throughout even when he was my sounding board for my frustration, disappointment and, at times, anger. Jon is the most approachable, unflappable and professional estate agent I have ever come across. How he managed to navigate us through the some of the situations involved I will never know but we got there in the end. We were unlucky with much of what happened in our selling journey but we were lucky to have met Jon at the beginning of the process. A huge shout out also to Tom who dealt with all the after sales issues....what a can of worms we opened time after time. Tom had everything in hand and was always ahead of the game and promptly responded to my emails. Both Tom and Jon were always available to help me with any enquiries we had regarding with our purchases and not just the sale of our house. These guys really don't just sell your house and leave you to it. They are with you every step of the way. I said to Jon several times through the process that I do not know how they do their job...they are piggy in the middle in the most emotional game in the world. If anyone is considering Garrett & Bradly to sell their home...just do it ...seriously don't hesitate. They sell your home ...and then some!

From the very first contact Nicola has been an absolute dream to work with. Staying professional throughout the process, giving an outstanding level of service, always at hand and nothing was ever too much trouble. I believe she went above and beyond and for that I will always be ever thankful. When Nicola first viewed my house I was in the process of gutting it and getting it ready to sell. I’m not really paint colour savvy but after many conversations with Nicola and her giving me awesome design ideas we came up with the best colours to use for the internal and external of my house. My property was we pretty much empty when the for sale sign went up so Nicola added some props when it came to viewings and for the photographs. This worked an absolute treat and can’t thank her enough for helping me out. I didn’t think that Estate Agents got so involved but Nicola rolled her sleeves up and gave it her all. The help she gave with the solicitors was totally invaluable and eased a lot of the anxieties surrounding a house sell. She constantly kept me updated throughout the process which made things work really smoothly. I could carry on singing her praises but I feel you get the exact measure of the type of service you will receive from my brief words. Nicola is such a kind, generous and thoughtful person and I’m seriously pleased she was on this journey with me. She was the first estate agent I met and knew straight away that I would instruct her. I can highly recommend Nicola to take care of your house sell and you can feel safe in the knowledge that she is doing her absolute best for your corner.

We would highly recommend this company, after our house being on the market for 16 weeks with another company who were not getting us what we wanted. Callum sold our house in around 10days of it being on the market with him. We had people view most days and multiple offers of which we achieved what we wanted. It took along time to process the sale but this was due to our buyers, buyer holding things up. Through out the whole process Callum stayed in contact with us and helped us nudge our buyers along. We are very happy with the service we received and would definitely recommend and use again if we needed to. Thanks so much Callum for all your help :)

We first met Callum when he showed us around a property as a prospective buyer. We were impressed with his approach; so much so that, when it came to putting our own house on the market, we invited him to list it for us. From start to finish, Callum was cool-headed, knowledgeable and reliable. He was responsive and always honest and fair - even if that meant telling us things we might not want to hear. Our chain became quite tricky towards the end of the process but Callum remained a solid pair of hands and we really leaned on and benefited from his advice and experience. The flat fee was a real benefit during such an expensive time and on top of that Callum was transparent, organised and super helpful - basically all the things you want from an estate agent but rarely get!! We've dealt with a lot of Bristol estate agents in our time, both as buyers and vendors, and Callum is head and shoulders above the rest and a breath of fresh air. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

I wasn't going to bother writing this review but my mind has changed seeing as the fallout from dealing with this company has now lost me my current house I am in I went to Garrett & Bradley as I felt like I trusted them as a company after they handled my case the first time round, which unfortunately fell through just before completion due to issues out of anyone's control. So when I came to use them for the same sale again I thought I was in good hands. Same thing happened again costing me thousands of pounds, however this time we got to the stage of completion, all legal fees paid for, searches, everything ready to complete...and it turns out that my buyer had no mortgage offer the entire time. No due diligence was done on the estate agents end to check that they had an offer when informed, even though there had been lack of transparency from my buyer from the start , which was a massive red flag Long story short, they cost me thousands and I am now having to move back home with my parents in my mid thirties, and with a big debt on my back. I can now no longer afford to fund selling my property and my future is hanging in the balance. Cheers guys! Happy new year....
