Diana Steer, handled the sale of our property in Ascot earlier this year. The whole team were genuinely very enthusiastic and complimentary of our property and decor which was lovely. It was a tricky market and and we rejected a couple of very low offers. We kept our nerve and with help from the team and Diana's calm and attentive manner, sure enough a few more offers from different parties came in and we ended up at our asking price. Strutt and Parker, Ascot Office: We rented a property in Sunningdale through the Strutt & Parker lettings team at Ascot. They were extremely professional in the handling of all aspects of the rental. Strutt & Parker also managed the property during our tenancy. Special mention in that respect must go to Philippa Ives, Associate Director of Property Management. Philippa was very attentive and understanding of any issues we raised; she kept us fully briefed of instructed works and was respectful and polite towards us as tenants - something that has not always been the case in our experience when previously renting. At the outset of the tenancy Philippa made several visits to the property to ensure all was in order and take note of our comments post check-in. Again, at the end of the tenancy she was exceptionally helpful with the various check-out related activities that had to be undertaken. We would like to thank the lettings team and Philippa for her support & help as the PM when renting through Strutt & Parker.

S&P- A highly professional, efficient agency.

I am so glad I chose S&P to sell my large Georgian home. I have a long history of buying and selling houses so I almost expected the pitfalls and inefficiency that have become predictable from other agents. However, S&P's Consultant Gina Simpson made it a very short and pain-free process. I am sure behind the scenes she worked very hard, but for me her no fuss, no headache, and professional approach made it all go orderly and smoothly to its conclusion. Her negotiation skills on our behalf meant we ( she ) achieved almost the asking price in a home that is so unique it could easily have stuck around on the market if left to other agents' middle-of-the-road efforts.Gina is empathetic, full of great ideas and initiative for overcoming hurdles and is also very personable and pleasant to work with. I would not hesitate to recommend S&P to anyone at any level, but in particular for high-end properties.

Philippa Ives at Ascot has been our property manager for nearly 13 years. During that time she has been exceptional to work with - always responsive, cheerful and helpful no matter what the issue or the dumb question I had. She helped co-ordinate the renovation of our house including painting and kitchen with all the various trades with minimal involvement from me. She always maintained excellent relationships with me and our tenants. We would not have had such a successful letting experience without her and help from the whole letting team at Ascot.

Sadly our experience hasn't been great with Strutt & Parker.Here is some honest feedback about our experience!1. Promises and deadlines for marketing our property were undelivered2. The photo shoot was that bad we had to appoint our own photographer.3. Once a viewing was booked we'd spend hours preparing our property to look its best and after the viewing we'd receive zero feedback.This was on the selling side only.Ref the purchasingWe were in a chain whereas both properties were marketed by Strutt and Parker. The vendors of where we were purchasing decided they couldn't find anywhere suitable after we'd spent £2500 on legal fees. If this was not bad enough we were even more mortified when Strutt & Parker willingly re-marketed the property just a few months later for £50k more without even consulting us first.This will be costly to Strutt & Parker going forwards as we are property developers in the area, and they could have generated a lot more business from us, however we have gone with another agent who will be selling 5 properties for us in the first instance.

Their local knowledge and understanding of the properties we saw was the best I’ve experienced from any agents around the world. With an overseas vendor and in the middle of a covid lockdown they proved excellent brokers and the sale wouldn’t have happened without their input.
