We were searching for a period property in Winchester for over 18 months, and Belgarum were fantastic throughout. They kept in regular contact, sent us suitable properties, and were always helpful. Once we found our home, they helped us exchange within six weeks and complete within eight. We, as a family, cannot speak more highly of Alex Lambourne and his team. In today's world, it is increasingly hard to find excellence in customer service but the team at Belgarum without exception, go way beyond this. The care, consideration and kindness they showed my elderly mother was exceptional. They showed flexibility and sensitivity to her needs. Alex runs a stellar team. I was so impressed that the team visited my mother before her house went on the market to hear what she had to say about the house, and it meant we had full confidence in anyone showing potential buyers around. Their communication was excellent, always keeping us abreast of developments - a particular shout out to Helena, Chris and Alex. All the staff at Belgarum are approachable, friendly and knowledgeable - never once did I need to explain who I was/or which house when I telephoned! Selling a house in today's market could be tough but with Alex's vast experience and sense, we had four viewings within a week of the house going on the market! Friends in similar situations were amazed! We very much appreciated his straightforward and sensible approach. Running a small business is hard and to do so by successfully ensuring all your team have the same positive ethos and vision is exemplary. Alex achieves this superbly. We recently bought a house through Belgarum Estate Agents in Winchester, and I honestly cannot recommend them highly enough. Our purchase involved a long and slightly complicated chain, and there were several moments when we genuinely thought the whole process might fall through. However, the team at Belgarum were absolutely outstanding throughout. In particular, Vicky was nothing short of incredible, truly an angel sent from above. Her dedication, persistence, and genuine care to get everyone in the chain moved was remarkable. She went above and beyond at every stage, keeping things moving when it felt impossible and reassuring us when things became stressful. Without her hard work and commitment, I genuinely don’t believe our purchase would have completed. She made what could have been a very difficult experience feel manageable and supported. An excellent experience from start to finish. The initial consultation for marketing the property was precise and detailed. The sale price was in line with our expectations and the market at the time. Photos and details were professional and better than other estate agents. Over the 4 months of marketing, we had a constant stream of viewings, which were well communicated and documented. There was always follow up be Belgarum. However, the standout service was post offer. The management during the conveyancing process was outstanding. There was regular communication (weekly) and followup with all parties throughout, to ensue that the process was constantly moving forward.
