Unfortunately I have had nothing but severe maintenance issues since moving into my rental accommodation. Beginning with no hot water, faulty boiler, leaks, back door realignments, water seeping into the kitchen, ,on going and fast spreading mould issue’s no airflow vents in any of the windows, gas cooker hob and oven refitted as previous one was not working and faulty, external pipe dug up and replaced, lead pipe removed, hole in the kitchen wall, faulty electric meter etc etc. Now another leak in the bathroom that I have to report today. Every single month there is an issue with this property. The most concerning is the mould, I asked on viewing if there was mould issues in the home. The property was freshly painted white, I was informed never. Since the weather has become damper the more mould is spreading throughout the home. Maintenance was arranged and a wall repainted in mould preventing paint only for mould to reappear in two weeks. I am a severe asthmatic and can not live with mould. We are now having to look for another property as this is not being sorted and I can’t risk my health. It’s such a shame I am paying to live in a property with all these issues. I am aware the team have tried to sort these issues out, I’ve had to take days off work as a counsellor I can’t have sessions with people in my home as it’s confidential, which impacts my finances. Still awaiting someone to check the render to see why the property has so much mould.

The team at Piccolo really are fabulous. We chose them with care because of their reputation for excellent, modern marketing and the attention they give to beautifully presenting the homes they list. We had also bought from them previously, so we already knew how good they were from the buyer’s side. Having now sold with them too, we can honestly say their service is exceptional. Their advice was first class throughout, from pricing and presentation, to viewings, negotiation and keeping the process moving. Everything felt thoughtful, tailored to our needs, considerate and kind. Piccolo’s marketing is in a different league. From interior styling and photography to video, brochure design and social media marketing, it was worth every penny and more. So many people messaged us to say how beautiful our home looked, and we were inundated with viewing requests. In fact, there was so much interest that we had to shortlist only those who were genuinely ready to proceed, which is a huge testament to Piccolo’s skill and expertise. Their service also goes far beyond the standard estate agency experience. We had particular needs around viewings, and the team not only accommodated our quirks, but went out of their way to make sure the whole family felt comfortable and supported. What makes Piccolo special is that you genuinely feel everyone is rooting for you. Lou produced a fabulous brochure, Pennie fronted the sales process brilliantly, hosted viewings with ease and is an absolute superstar on video, and Claire organised viewings and administered the process so smoothly. Every member of the team seemed to know us, know our home, and care about helping us move on to the next chapter. Piccolo describe themselves as offering something more thoughtful and personal than the usual estate agency experience, and that was absolutely true for us. They are passionate, creative, detail-focused and genuinely kind. We would recommend them wholeheartedly.

We rented with Piccolo for just over 3 years and they were nothing short of exceptional. Piccolo are the only estate agent we have experienced that show exquisite care to the tennant as well as the landlord. They were extremely fair in all decisions and prompt to resolve immediate issues. Inspections are spaced respectfully to ensure the landlord is updated on the condition of their property but also so the tennant is still able to feel and call the property home. They were kind and considerate when it comes to personal life events and I cannot recommend them enough. This relationship relies on fairness and understanding between the estate agents, landlord and tennant in which we were lucky enough to experience in abundance from both parties. And whilst not every landlord will be the same, Piccolo never faltered from their side. We have now moved away to a new area due to a new job and life changes but the decision to leave Piccolo was reluctant.

Pennie was holding our hand throughout, but Lou, Helen and Jacqui were equally ready and there to help and to smooth our way.
