Dear Liz. As you have decided to air your feelings in a public way, I feel it is only our right to defend our actions. As explained to you and your partner, the condition of the property was not as expected with numerous defects which have all been detailed and photographed. When you live in a property, you are expected to look after it and hand it back in a condition that reflects the amount of time you have been there. The landlord has the right to claim damages from you and you have a right to defend those claims using the appropriate mediums. We are processing the deposit claim as per the guidelines and we hope to achieve a speedy result and wish you well in your next home
