What a fantastic team! They have all been brilliant from the moment i made the call to put my house on the market, preeti valuated the property and was great, i got over the asking price! Darren who is the mortgage broker was fantastic with me, he pointed me to the right direction and got the best possible offer considering my situation and personal circumstances. He really put my mind at ease and did not let me leave with any unanswered questions. Pretti even went above and beyond to look into legal paperwork with me on a short notice! Can't praise the team enough and it's my second dealing with them! I would definitely recommend Dixons and I would personally only use them again in future! Highly recommend Dixons estate agents to anyone! Especially first time renters/buyers!Me and my partner was looking at renting our first home together, we was so uneducated and didn’t know what to expect but Dixons was a godsend!I had my eye on a house in my childhood neighbourhood so I applied, not thinking that we’d actually get the house but we did! We had 2 lovely lady’s helping us called Megan and holly and they both was amazing!! Megan showed us around the house and answered all questions for us, and holly was brilliant especially over the phone! I dread to think how many times I kept calling but holly always answered politely and answered all my questions. Definitely felt so comfortable with Dixons! Highly recommend!

What to say, the most helpful people I have met, happy polite and down to earth. Took everything we was after into consideration. Made house hunting so easy and all the legal stuff aswell. Would definitely recommend, hayley the lady helping us, was one of the best people we have every met, but the whole team was amazing helpful with any questions and helping us understand anything. I was looking for a property for a buy-to-let. Hayley got right on the case and booked several viewings for me. She was excellent at communicating and keeping me in the look every step of the way. Go Hayley! Additional support came from Emma and Nicola who were fantastic at chasing up the Solicitors to keep up the momentum. All of the staff are so professional and friendly. Never have i ever been to an estate agents where everyone has been so wonderful. Being first time buyers, Darren really helped us understand every thing finance wise which made me and my husband more at ease, he found us the best mortgage to suit our needs and kept us updated at all times. The girls at Dixons are lovely and any queries we had were dealt with efficiently, nothing was too much for them. For anyone thinking of buying a house do not hesitate to use these guys.

Avoid Dixons

I let out my flat with Dixons in December 2022 as I was not able to get a new tenant myself. They were initially responsive to get my business, and did get a tenant into the property. After that things immediately went downhill.I signed up for the 'fully managed' property management service at Dixons in Selly Oak. I had some minor repairs reported by a tenant (hole in wall needed plastering, bath sealant replacing and some rust on bathroom mirror). I advised the work be done by a contractor and Dixons came back quoting £800! Unable to go through with such a ridiculous quote, I did the work myself costing £30 and 1 hour of my time. I was amazed that Dixons did not check the quote at all, and did not visit the property.They then double-charged me the tenant sign-on fees (the first tenant they found did not even stay a month) but did not tell me they were charging twice, I had to tell them and then chase and nag for my refund for 3 months.It also took over 1 month of chasing just to have them send me the tenancy agreement and relevant paperwork.At this point I stopped seeing any value in the service - it was much easier when I managed the property myself, Dixons just made things much harder and more expensive.Please do not sign up to this service expecting your property management to be easier or cheaper. My experience with Dixons has transformed my view on property management and I regret signing up to this. I have had to physically go the the branch to get them to do anything.UPDATE Dec 2023 - The nightmare continues. I've been trying to retrieve the deposit back from Dixons but the senior branch manager has no clue how this works and even told me to protect the deposit that I am not holding! After over 2 months of chasing, and over 50 emails, and several phone calls, I finally got the tenant their deposit back. It's absolutely laughable that I got Dixons involved to make property management easier - it has been one of the worst experiences I've ever had being a landlord. I'm glad I got out when I did or it would have been a financial disaster too.

Absolutely amazing! We tried to sell with a local company first as they were cheaper however we should of gone straight to Hayley and the Dixons team!! Totally understand what we wanted and arranged all the appointments for viewers etc. We sold within 3 weeks and the team made us their priority not the buyer. No constant phone calls checking when we were moving out etc. I can't recommend enough. Yes some agents will charge less but the service you'll get here is totally worth it!
