Awful experience buying from Temme English Colchester. Rushed viewings (when we were able to get them for the house we had agreed to purchase), staff unable to unlock the front door (on every visit, not just the first) and chasing for information and answers. Completion day was the worse - they said they would meet us at the property to hand the keys over. However they changed their mind once the solicitor called to say we had completed and now had to go to the office. Whilst trying to explain to Carl that this is not what was agreed, he accused me of being aggressive and of lying. Same to my husband (must be his standard line to deal with awkward conversations) laughed at my husband and hung up. Keys were literally handed to us with no pleasantries that other estate agents do - no card, no gift, no meter readings. They simply do not care once you agree to buy a house they are listing

I’ve been with Agency for the last 2 and half years, worst agency I ever dealt with after showing them the property and confirming everything was clean and nice. They claim to get all my deposit and just by lying to the DPS and also my whole tenancy we had issues with the house and then never cared about fixing any problems and they used to tell us to leave the property. If we don’t like the way they treat us and we had a kid and we couldn’t. That’s why they used the advantage of that PLEASE AVOID THESE SCAMMERS!!

Basildon branch salesman and director, lied, rude, hangs phone up, late to viewing that they forgot to book, their vendor agreed price on Monday sent all detail etc over then tells me Tuesday they went with someone else after ageeeing my offer, then I went to asking price and was still turned down and estate agent said vendor don’t want to negotiate with me for no reason, we worked out sobering was u tears and now it’s still on market and been put up 10k more don’t use this company even the director isn’t honest or professional I even went to tge vendors house and they was lovely and they said they don’t like the estate agents behaviour either, this shouldn’t be allowed. I also paid my solicitor £1000 because my offer was accepted and Iv not had that refunded because tge estate agents are up to something that’s not honest Shame I will never get an honest explanation Iv been stressed in an appalling manner for no reason at all just wanted to warn everyone so you don’t have to go through what myself and family have I have passed the way I have been badly treated to my solicitor to see what she can do legally as this needs to go further with this estate agents I won’t be treated in that way and they think it’s ok and I wouldn’t want anyone else to be treated the way I was

From day one, Carl has been fantastic. He was polite, friendly and considerate when he came to take the photos of our house and on our initial meeting. He has been very approachable, kept us updated on every stage of the process,and along with Mitchell and Peter, they have all made selling our house very stress free. Nothing is too much for them. They always answered calls or got back to me immediately. Mitchell and Peter were very professional when showing all our potential buyers around and really did go the extra mile. Carl has been nothing but a diamond and has advised us all along the way about guide price and viewings etc. I cannot fault them and wouldn't think about using anyone else to sell our house.
