Top quality estate agent service

I bought a lovely 3 bed semi with my partner. We wanted a home which was close to everything we needed with a fairly big garden for our 3 dogs and parking for 2 cars. Curtis at Balgores was ever so helpful from start to finish, He was available to talk at any point during the day, I know this as I had a panic moment about the price and called him at 8:30pm at home and he was happy to hear from us and gave us all the help and advice we needed. His team at Balgores kept us in the loop with updates about every step of the buying process, something that we’ve not received when using other estate agents in the past. If I look to ever sell my home, il definitely be looking to use Balgores as my agent as I was so impressed with the service.

Balgores Romford, sold my new development in Essex. Presented superb photos and a very detailed and comprehensive description. Marketed on numerous advertising avenues. Took control of the whole process from start to finish and didnt have to worry about anything. The paperwork trail was all issued as and when things happened, from viewings, offers, declined offers, agreed offers, contracts issued, exchanges and completions. And throughout the conveyancing process, chased all the relevant parties to make sure the sale didnt delay. I could not recommend them more, excellent agents.

Well where do we start

Well where do we start. Our purchase took over 5 months to complete BUT this was not the fault of Balgores. Indeed Balgores worked hard to try and get the solicitors to engage and get things moving and were our supporting rock throughout. I must mention Sarah Oakley at Basildon who was superb and kept us sane throughout the process. So would I use them again .. yes if I needed to I would.

BALGORES ROMFORD Honestly wow. So unprofesional people. Got a time for a viewing 1 bed flat, and less then one hour before viewing the flat,got message that it’s canceled, no explination,nothing, we been coming from kinda of far to check that flat and we was so exited, and on our way we just got a text ,that they cancel our viewing... Tried to call and get an explination, but we got the same text again that it’s canceled... Honestly so unprofesionall, saw alot of bad reviews about this agency, couldn’t believe they actually such unprofesional people. AVOID agency’s like that... Nothing cost to answer the phone and explain situation...Honestly wouldn’t give even 1 star if would have an option.

The worst agency services regarding…

The worst agency services regarding lettings on the market. We recently rented a house through Balgores agency, dealing with two ladies Toni Jones and Katrina. When we saw the property they assured us, the agency will make sure everything will be in perfect condition and in working order for us to move in. And also they will carry out all the health and safety checks, to make sure the house is ready to be rented. We were also promised a deep cleaning of the property. All this mentioned above, did not happen. This two ladies are are the most despicable liars. When we received the keys, we discovered that the electricity meter is faulty and also the electrical fuse was faulty and a danger to the house. The downstairs toilet was faulty, when you flushed the toilet water was coming out underneath, the backdoor was broken, could not be locked, the thermostat was not working, the owen was not working and the smoke alarms are not working either, also the radiator in the bathroom was broken and leaking badly. We think they just paid someone to sign their safety checks, so they can rent out the house as soon as possible and to get their commission. We intend to act legally against this despicable and discriminatory behaviour. Just because we are Romanians it doesn't mean we can be treated like this. It's a pity I can't upload pictures of the state of the property.

Fantastic service from start to finish.Allannah at the Chelmsford branch dealt with our sale and was incredibly professional and friendly throughout.The rest of the team who helped out in between were brilliant. Even the little things, like printing off important documents, because we didn't have access to a printer was so helpful when everything is so stressful.After we accepted, our property was handed over to Sarah, who kept on top of the solicitors and mortgage brokers. Without Sarah, I have no doubt that our sale would of been delayed. Balgores are extremely proficient at what they do and I would recommend their services to anyone.

Balgores BASILDON - STEER VERY CLEAR

Just like one of the reviewers here said, one star is too many for these lying cheating self serving +×=£*¥£&. If anyone is even THINKING of using these absolute unprofessional useless fraudsters then I would suggest you think again. I was in the process of trying to purchase a property with them and they (what EVERY other estate agent is calling malpractice to be taken action against) suggested a decision in principal ( in principal meaning they do a FULL credit search on you leaving a mark on your record before you even see a property) is necessary to view a property which they had actually already sold but still kept the property on the market and continuing to book viewings with people when they had already sealed a deal. They don't phone or email you back once they know you are fully using their "services". Their communication is very poor and they are a bunch of liars just out to serve themselves. DO NOT USE THEM!

Balgores Property ROMFORDNot even a one star!!!!!Awful service from the moment we started our rent agreement.Before we started our agreement they were after us almost everyday making sure that all the paper work was in order. Very helpful. But all changed once we moved. We had problems with the hot water tank and the kitchen floor MAINLY since DAY ONE.We didn't have hot water on the daily basis for almost a month an a half, and my daughter tripped on the kitchen floor few times already!! Very slow communication, sometimes they will take 10 days to respond to my email. And when they finally respond they are not even specific to the updates or you find out that they didn't contact anybody yet and they are asking you for more details, when they supposed to come already when an outcome!!!The service standards are horrible... And we are being waitting for compensation for a month already and the property manager that has been "dealing" with our department and all the issues just responded today saying that he is in annual leave and he will not come back till next week!!!!!! So basically he left without resolving our issues!!!! To be honest I don't think is fair that the landlords will gave us a compensation for the EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE OF THE PROPERTY MANAGER HIMSELF!!! The compensation should come from the agency itself!!!

Bought my first property through Balgores and was pretty terrible from start to finish. I had 4 viewings with them before picking my purchase property and the agents were late and uninformed on every viewing. On one viewing, the agent Ross did not even know how to get out of the property. I would not have picked my property if the seller was not present on the viewing, as the agents knew nothing and the seller had to answer all my questions. Sean insisted I pay for the private survey in order for them to take the property off the market, which it then took them over a week, and pressure from my solicitors to do so. Dealing with them throughout the coronavirus pandemic, they showed little to no care for this or personal circumstances due to this. Once completed, the agents also did not even get the keys correctly so on my completion day (which should have been celebratory) I could not even access the property. Avoid at all costs if possible.

Wickford Office - Would not consider using anyone else

Ross from the Wickford office was fantastic throughout the whole purchase/sale process. Never an issue to speak to him at any point. Sarah from the sales progression team at the Basildon branch was also fantastic, supported us through a very complicated sale process and multiple issues with our buyer, she was always chasing the solicitors to keep things moving forward. Took way longer to sell than we were told it would

Said the sale of our flat would complete in 8 - 12 weeks, but took nearly 6 months - even though we had an immediate offer. Very poor communication from Jason, didn't ring back when he said he would and didn't keep us informed of what was going on even when things seemed to be going wrong. Didn't inform us that we would need a Gas Safe certificate and an electrical certificate which the buyer's solicitor requested 2 weeks before the exchange date. Added unnecessary stress to the sale as we had to find companies that could do the tests urgently and added hundreds of pounds to our cost of sale.
