GoogleWe have just bought and sold a house in Whitley Bay with Sawyers and Sons. They were outstanding from start to finish and we would recommend them to everyone. Their knowledge of Whitley Bay and the housing market was impressive, they priced realistically, meaning that we got plenty of footfall, and we sold our house in two days for well over the asking price. The process of buying and selling was made easy by their dedicated team, no question was stupid and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. Sawyers and Son are a family business so you really get to know the team and they all know you. It is this that has made them exceptional as you get a personalised service where the customer is at the heart of everything they do. It is rare and refreshing to find an estate agent who is professional, honest, trustworthy and reliable but that’s exactly what you get with Sawyers and Son, In the future I wouldn’t even think of using anyone else. We decided to go with J G Sawyers to sell our property because they were very clear in their approach, their fees were very reasonable, and they were confident in being able to get both transactions through quickly. Having gone through the entire process, from putting our property on the market to moving into the new property all within three months, I really couldn't fault their service. They were efficient, clear, friendly and provided relevant and timely updates without us having to chase them once. The whole process was a pleasure rather than stressful, and the people at J G Sawyers were a big part of making it that way. Buying/selling houses is stressful at the best of times, but when a global pandemic hits just after offers have been accepted, well, you suddenly find yourself facing previously unimaginable levels of complexity and stress and you wonder how you'll ever get through it... But get through it I did, thanks to the exemplary levels of courtesy, responsiveness and professionalism from Andrew and the whole Sawyers team. Having just completed, I don't intend to engage in a property transaction for many years however, the next time I summon up the courage to do so, I won't hesitate to use Sawyers. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

From the moment speaking to Nigel, Andrew and Daniel I felt very reassured, many times put at ease and anything that I asked nothing was a problem! Always kept us fully updated as things progressed! Got to say if it wasn't for them am pretty sure the sale would of fallen through, but they were always on the ball and kept it moving forward, talking to all parties and solicitor's. Sawyers and Sons back in January 2020 and we were very impressed with their extremely high levels of professionalism and customer service throughout. They were friendly, reliable, helpful and efficient. The service we received from all the staff (though we mainly liaised with Nigel and Andrew) was second to none; they frequently gave us updates on each stage of our purchase, responded quickly to any questions we had, and helped us to get some queries resolved with the vendors, always with professionalism and efficiency. We received a ‘new home’ card through the post from Sawyers on the first morning waking up in our new home, which we thought was a really nice touch. J.G. Sawyers and Sons were a pleasure to deal with and we would highly recommend them.
