GoogleFollowing a slow start with an Estate management company I decided to part ways with there services as I felt they were not doing as the script had advertised in their brochure. Mr A. J. Reid of Reid's Estate Agents Whitchurch Shropshire was now my prefered choice and what a great choice.He and his staff (Colleagues) could not do enough for me. Blighted by ill health myself I could not maintain any level of physical presence plus the Covid Pandemic wasn't helping. The girls and John maintained and kept me informed of progress of work required and advised me. Loads of viewings and eventually the asking price achieved.
I would recommend this Estate Agents in a heartbeat there are loads to choose from and I know from my experience just how daunting and costley in time and money it can be if you get it wrong.So once again I say if you want to sell these are the ones you want friendly open and not at all stuffy trust me. The service provided by AJ Reid Estate Agents throughout the whole process of selling my property was exemplary in every aspect.
It's frankly hard to pick out particular best aspects of their service as every level was so professionally undertaken. However, if pressed to single out one element it would be communication skills. At all stages I felt listened to, informed, kept up to date; everything was explained clearly and nothing was too much trouble. More than that though, there was a fundamentally human approach based on empathy, kindness and a recognition that this is not just about selling houses, it's about people's lives and stories; their memories and their futures.
With special thanks to John, who nurtured the whole process forwards with calm, clarity, commitment and consideration. I always came off the phone feeling reassured.

They cheerfully conducted lots of viewings and negotiated with the buyer for me, keeping me well informed throughout what turned out to be a long process due to 2 buyers pulling out. They were available by phone within 30 secs any time I phoned them and responded promptly to any emails from me.

GoogleThe whole staff at AJReid were exceptionally helpful when we were moving into the area (special shout out to Lisa who took every phone call with a cheery attitude).
We did have some issues trying to purchase our first choice house (seller's solicitor issues not AJReid) and they got involved in trying to resolve it going above and beyond the usual estate agents.
Eventually we pulled out and AJReid helped us secure a different house in their portfolio, facilitating a quick sale . They were proactive in trying to help us purchase both houses and we'd definitely use them again, for both sales and purchases.

GoogleWe decided to pick AJ Reid Estate Agents in Whitchurch to sell our beautiful 5 bedroom home. Being a large period property with a high price for the local area, we wanted an estate agent that would be proactive and actually get the house sold rather than just sit back and wait for someone to just turn up so to speak.
When we first met Jonathan Reid, both my wife and I were immediately impressed with his 'get your sleeves rolled up and get stuck in' attitude to house selling, as well as his professional yet endearing approach.
It was these factors that made up our mind to use AJ Reid and they certainly lived up to our expectations, even managing to get a viewing on the very same day the house went on the market.
