GoogleOur house sale was at the end of a complex chain which required constant monitoring. The Hendersons team kept us informed throughout, even providing assistance to other (non-customer) parties in the chain to ensure the transaction was successful. The process of photographing and advertising the house was most professional. Ultimately the initial sale process was the simpler part. GoogleIt is not an easy time, logistically, for estate agents. Hendersons have gone out of their way to communicate and accommodate short notice viewing requests, as we search for a house in Whitby. Every member of the team seems to share these core values and whilst you cannot guarantee that your dream home will be offered for sale by Hendersons, I can assure you that if it is, you will be well looked after!PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

FacebookLovely staff. Always friendly, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Posting properties here on Facebook is very useful too as few local agents do this, and the Rightmove portal is not always up to date.

GoogleWas shown a rental property by a member of staff as we are relocating to whitby, very disinterested in what we were looking for, advised us that another property we would be interested in was "too small for us"( I think that would be our decision.)...I was told that applications were being taken for the rental but nothing further as the owner was away, which is fair enough, but then when we asked to view another rental property, we were told again that applications were being taken but again the landlord wanted to postpone a decision? We found this to be quite odd. We explained that I was having to travel 200 miles each trip and that we were looking to pay a considerable amount in advance rent, so, when I arranged to come over to whitby again the following week to view a property, I was informed by quite a curt voicemail on my journey that the property had gone (even though we were told no decision was being made on applications) and I could no longer view it , no apology for any inconvenience, is there anything else you would like to look at etc etc...just basic customer service... I was extremely disappointed with the whole experience with Henderson's, and would not want to deal with this particular lady in the future and will look elsewhere for our rental as thier are other agents in the area who I have been liaising with also, who have shown fantastic customer service and have gone out of their way to help us with relocating.

GoogleI had the best experience of renting a property in Whitby with Hendersons. I remember Claire through emails but generally the staff has been amazing and very helpful. They reply back quick and sort everything out easily. I would 100% recommend.

FacebookIn the dealings I've had with Hendersons over the past couple of years, I have always found them extremely professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. It took me a few goes to find the perfect property, but they have always been helpful and patient with me - and we finally got to the finish line! For anyone wanting an estate agent who really knows the local market, you couldn't do any better in my opinion.

GoogleWhat a service we have had. Friendly & efficient. Henderson's, we cannot fault you in any way. Certainly on-the-ball far more than any agents we have used in the past. It's not been an easy ride for us but you have all made it far less stressful than we could have hoped for. Soon as we met Nick we had every confidence in him. Special thanks also to Martin & Karin.

GoogleSent email re a property we were interested in. Were hoping to arrange a visit over a weekend as live 200 miles away. Despite a reminder no response. If I were the vendor I would be questioning what sort of service they are providing! NB I subsequently was contacted. Problem with e.mails not been forwarded and we have now resolved so I have amended my rating accordingly

GoogleFirstly I’m disgusted that you chose to ring my husband rather than me when I’ve been the main negotiator. Secondly, your failure to keep me up to date or reply to me despite reassurances that you would, resulting in the vendor not receiving the best price for her property means that I would not consider asking you to sell my house.

GoogleI'm extremely pleased with the helpful service provided by Hendersons. In fact, they went above and beyond the call of duty in helping me to secure my ideal tenancy. As well as being ultra efficient, all the staff I met there have been friendly and engaging. Overall it has been very positive and pleasant experience dealing with this delightful group of property experts.

GooglePhoned Henderson's 2 times. The first time around 10am then around 1pm. Both times everyone too busy to speak to me regarding purchasing a house. Told 2 times they will call me back. Took my number. No call back. This is no way to run a buisness. I have just sold a property with Astins. Excellent communications from start to finish. Very professional.

GoogleCan't recommend Henderson's highly enough how amazing their service is, from start to finish they were 5 star, never felt like I had anything whatsoever to do with selling our house, they did everything from marketing, viewings and all the chasing of the sale and purchase, just brilliant and professional throughout, thanks to them we are in our dream home!

GoogleThis is twice I've been disappointed with Henderson's now. They don't ring back when you are expecting them to. When you ring them to speak about it you get quite a curt response saying they are busy. Why don't you give a realistic response time so as not to dissappointNegativeResponsiveness
