I've generally found the process of renting unnecessarily complicated in the past so it was a nice and surprising change to find somewhere to rent through Meyers. The whole process was done with minimal hassle and any queries that I had were quickly and directly answered, all with a friendly and professional service. A big thank you to Amy who was a significant part of this. It's sometimes the small things that make a big impression - while I had a relatively short experience renting with Meyers, I was very happy with the service provided and they will certainly be an estate agent that I will consider moving forward, whether I'm renting, letting, buying or selling...

Claire was a huge help and delightful to work with throughout our purchase. She put up with our awkward requests for viewings, when we were often accompanied by over energetic young children. Claire liaised with the vendors for us, and even passed on useful practical information which we needed as newcomers to the area. Thank you for making it such a positive experience!

I have dealt with the Dorchester office. Staff are friendly and polite when contacted. However overall I was a bit disappointed with the service. There were a number of small issues which added together resulted in me feeling that I would not recommend them. I have written directly to them with some suggestions for improvement.
Thank you for your invaluable feedback which is very important to us as a local brand we care a lot about the outcome of your move and the experience you have through our Poundbury office. We dropped the ball here and for that I am truly sorry and have something on its way to you shortly to slightly make up for that issue. The service we received from Meyers was fantastic. Our move was quite complex as we were relocating from Spain to Dorset. Initial phone conversations with Meyers have been polite and constructive. I had to leave a message but was phoned back later. Meeting the agent at the property was relaxed and friendly with a suitable amount of information provided. There was no printed detail of the sale offered. The agent did not have a ladder to look into the loft, nor did he have a key to the garage. However, we were not rushed and felt our comments were listened to. Paper work that followed via email, was clear and prompt and made us feel things were progressing. We are very pleased with the service we received.

AN ABSOLUTE MUST if you are looking for an estate agent in the Purbeck area. From our very first phone call it was clear that Richard and Claire offer a service that is far above and beyond any other estate agency in the area. Richard came to value our property within a week of our phone call. He was very professional, well prepped and had an extensive knowledge of our area. He had none of the sleaze or smarminess we experienced with other estate agents who also valued our property. His valuation was realistic and at a price we agreed together and one that meant our house was sold at the asking price. After our initial meeting, our house was on the market within a week and sold within 6 weeks. From that point on, we had constant updates from Claire. Who I can honestly say, is one of the most competent, diligent, hardworking and down to earth people who I have ever dealt with. It was as if we had become an extended part of her family and she made us feel cared for throughout our whole experience. She phoned us on a weekly basis to update us before we sold. She talked us through each and every step of the whole process and gave us contacts for solicitors, removals and even the local handyman to fix a missing tile on our roof. She then showed what an amazing work ethic she had after we sold. The solicitors we had to deal with in order to complete our chain were the most difficult part of the process. Without Claire there is no chance that our sale would have been completed. Claire went above and beyond, she dealt with all the other estate agents in the chain, she spoke to the solicitors personally and when they didn't respond she spoke to their superiors and even got to the company director at one point. My wife and I have always considered good will to be the biggest and most important quality of any person in their job! Without doubt, the good will Claire showed us, with the amount of hours she put into our move, was like none we have ever experienced before and it is unlikely we will see again. Even on completion day, Claire was constantly on the end of the phone, hurrying and hastling the solicitors and other estate agents to get the deal done. We can not recommend her, Richard and Meyers of Wool highly enough. There were NO NEGATIVES about their service at all and they made our experience of moving house so much better because of their hard work and INCREDIBLE GOOD WILL. If we were to move again (We have no intention of that, as they also helped us to find the perfect house) They would be the first and only people we would go to. If you have got to the end of this review, then there is no need to look any further as my wife and I can 100% guarantee that you won't be disappointed if you choose Richard and Claire to look after your house move. Meyers Wareham Our sale through Myers was made effortless for us with Claire and Richard’s unending support. Our purchase dragged on (and on and on) because of issues in the chain with other agents and chain members and Claire was an absolute rock of support to me when I really felt like throwing in the towel. We lost our buyer at one point and they quickly found us another one. Claire went above and beyond to help keep the chain on track and moving. We eventually moved after 5 months and I have to say I miss my regular chats with Claire. Claire I’m coming to see you soon with something to show my appreciation. Thank you so very much ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
