We found AVENUE Sales & Lettings as a relocation to Dorset left us between properties. Seeking a rental in Dorset was difficult for us, living in the Midlands. However we came across Avenue and found high quality standards in all aspects of property lettings around the Weymouth area. From first contact to viewing, on to refs and acceptance the process was made easy by competent, proactive and helpful staff. Recently used Avenue for selling and from start to finish they was brilliant! Unlike some of the high pressure estate agents iv previously met / used i found them personable, kind, considerate, professional, thorough, hard working and showed brilliant communication throughout. Charlotte particularly went above and beyond what i would normally expect from an estate agent. Any time i phoned staff new exactly what was happening in the chain which i cannot say for larger companies iv used before. As a buyer i would prefer a property being sold with them over a number of the other companies. There has been absolutely no negatives and would use again if i ever move again.

I have had the pleasure of being a tenant with Avenue sales & letting Weymouth for the last 3 years. Nick & Harry were consistently professional, honest, kind, understanding and always supportive. Jodi compliments their team work very courteously and professionally, they have every reason to be proud of their work. When I needed a new oven they didn’t hesitate, when fixtures have needed fixing they have acted on my requests immediately. Very human service at all times, I couldn’t have asked for more. I’ve moved out of area and they have continued to support me through that too, talking me through it, giving great advice & sending references immediately. Ben drove out to pick my keys up for end of tenancy, at a very and complicated and challenging time for me, no questions asked he was just there for me, Ben is Sales I’m told, so not even part of letting, but that goes to show how strong a team they are, supporting each other regardless, It just doesn’t get any better. Thank you Ben. I’m loathed to be moving but due to work commitment I must. Anyone getting a property with Avenue should see themselves as very lucky. They have maintained being very reasonably priced, even when other Estate Agents behaved like dead fish and gone with the flow! Hiking up rents to be unreachable for anyone! Nick and his team kept it real and stood out from the crowed, supporting their community by keeping rents as they were. No one could challenge their integrity and will, to support their community even during Covid lockdowns unpresidented challenges, they were there supporting us all still with advice, phone calls and emails. They are an outstanding Estate agent who aim to improve and give their community its dignity back and I feel they are winning. I hope you read this Nick & Harry as it’s all I can do and the least I can do. Absolutely first class service from start to finish. We spotted that our dream home had gone onto the market at 21:00 on the Thursday night before we were due to travel on the following morning. We visited Avenue at 09:00 and Ben was able to schedule a viewing within the hour, long story short but we put an offer in and it was accepted within 2 hours. Since then Ben alongside Charlotte have been gold, they have updated with every stage, contacted us regularly, and "hurried up" the solicitors whenever possible. There is so much that is excellent at Avenue. Surely there can be no person better at their job than Charlotte, she appreciates the benefit of excellent photography such that their listings on Right Move literally jump out of the screen. Her property descriptions are impeccable and her attention to detail throughout the whole sale process was second to none. A huge thank you to Charlotte and the team at Avenue Sales and Lettings. Charlotte has been highly professional throughout the process. This was our first time selling a property. She guided us through the process in detail and set out the options using her knowledge and expertise. She recommended an open day which suited us with 2 small children and arranged beautiful photos and marketing information. We were over the moon to receive multiple acceptable offers after the open day. This was thanks to all of her hard work marketing the property and lining up serious potential purchasers prior to the open day. She kept a look out for properties for us to move in to and flagged up and showed us a few that matched our requirements that were new to the market. She worked tirelessly not only on the sale of our property but also on our onward purchase which was through another agent. She really took the stress off of us by chasing up other estate agents and solicitors in the chain and keeping us regularly updated. It was a complicated and complex chain and she did a brilliant job in pulling it altogether. She always had a smile on her face even though it was covered by a mask (COVID) and was always extremely willing to help, friendly, approachable and personable.
