I have never been in this position before so was completely out of my comfort zone. Clare has been a real source of knowledge but more importantly a real source of support during a difficult period with the freeholder. Her no nonsense approach is refreshing and her ability to make things happen remarkable. She and her team have earthy trust from day one and when approached by the freeholder to rent to him it was an easy no; I’m happy with the service I get and have no wish to move to another company

We were lucky enough to have Joanne selling our property for us. She's the lead negotiator at THW and it's not hard to see why. Having worked in sales, we understand first hand how difficult it is to navigate price negotiation and manage customers through a highly emotional and stressful process, but we have to say that Joanne exceeded our expectations and was incredibly talented, conscientious and perhaps most importantly, empathic throughout the process. Initially she dealt with a legthy price negotiation, managing to keep our buyers engaged and happy enough to eventually agree on a figure we could all move forward with (not an easy task!). But the real challenges came as the sale progressed, and we began to experience the stresses that come with demanding buyers. Throughout the process Joanne kept in touch, offered impartial, considered advice in order to keep the sale on track, and was incredibly patient with us as we dealt with the stress that inevitably comes with the process of moving house. We honestly believe that without Joanne's support and expertise, the sale of our property, and subsequent purchase of our new house, would have fallen through on a number of occasions, and we are forever grateful for the support and time that she gave us during such a stressful time, which definitely went above and beyond what would be expected of her job role. The whole team at THW are professional and personable, however for obvious reasons we are especially grateful to Joanne. We cant recommend this company highly enough.

I’ve had such a positive experience with my letting agent and couldn’t recommend them more highly. From start to finish, they have been incredibly supportive in helping me find an apartment that’s just right for me. They really listened to what I was looking for and made the whole process feel smooth and straightforward. Communication has been excellent throughout, they were always quick to respond, clear with information, and happy to answer any questions I had. Moving out on my own could have been a very stressful experience, but they genuinely put my mind at ease and made everything feel manageable. I’d especially like to mention Laura Bromwell, who has been my main point of contact and an incredible help throughout the whole process. She has been so supportive, patient, and reassuring. After a year of tenancy with THW, I’ve found that they are far more than good first impressions, they work to very high standards. The agency is always available to help me with any queries while offering sound advice, and in the time I’ve been in the property they’ve taken several steps to improve their processes for repairs, etc. If I was at a complete 50/50 on two properties, and one was managed by THW, it could genuinely be the deciding factor for me.

I needed to lease out a property on behalf of an elderly relative and had no idea how to go about it. I chose THW as they happened to be on the high street in Kendal. As a walk-in I was expecting to need to make an appointment but I was welcomed in to take a seat there and then. The person who advised me that day was the same person who then took on my lease arrangements. I expected paperwork, lots of back and forth, but the process was stress free, fast, smooth and most of all friendly with great correspondence. I was never left hanging wondering where we were in the process or what was happening. I have had a very positive experience here which is not that usual these days!

The I.T. systems they have support the landlord and the tenant to deal with any issues thus managing the cause rather than having to deal with the effect.
