We noticed we had faulty appliances and we contacted our property manager Clive Martin from SA about it. Clive organised a contractor to come identify the problem the next day and the faulty appliances were replaced in no time. Clive was extremely helpful and swift in his actions, which made our life easier in a difficult situation. We find him an excellent manager who is easy to reach and efficient.

He has consistently made himself available on short notice for viewings and has made a genuine effort to understand exactly what I was looking for. He has been very proactive in sending me suitable options, even where they were not yet out on the market. We are on the process of buying a property sold via Stirling Ackroyd. Spencer de Jonge has been our main point of contact, so far we are happy with the process.Overall:- Polite when showing us around, not pushy- Good at responding to emails- Did try to get us validated by their own mortgage advisor, but we had no issues when we decided to proceed with our own.

Warning: Shady Tactics Ahead!Writing this review under the name Daniel to protect privacy. My experience with Stirling Ackroyd was a disappointment. They promise one thing on the phone but do another via email, leading to confusion. The agents are rude and arrogant, showing no respect. They also use manipulative tactics to push buyers into overpaying. Save yourself the trouble and avoid Stirling Ackroyd!!!

Stirling Ackroyd were very patient and thorough during the sale of my flat. I found that everyone I dealt with was very professional and courteous at all times too. It was a challenging task to sell my flat during a pandemic, but they gave me great advice the entire time and really helped guide me through the process. Special mention to Sam Currie for going the extra mile for me too!

I've been renting my flat through Stirling Ackroyd for the past 4 years, James Banister is the managing agent of the flat and I can highly recommend him. He promptly responds to all my emails about issues I may have with the flat (e.g. hot water or boiler related) and every single time he has sent maintenance to fix any issues as soon as possible. I can always rely on James.

My agent was Charles who had a lovely calm approach and was open and honest. My home sold very quickly and Charles kept me informed throughout. Am very sad that trust pilot doesn’t allow me to put 0 stars. 1 is far far too generous, and frankly it’s offensive to businesses who have worked hard to earn their 1 star out of 5. In any case, DO NOT TRUST THE 5 STAR REVIEWS - THEY ARE ALL FAKE.I wrote another review a while ago that they tried to have taken down (and somehow it’s miraculously disappeared now). They fill these pages with fake reviews and petition to get all the bad ones taken down. Maybe if they spent less time combatting people’s genuine anger and disgust with their service and more time actually doing their jobs this complete and utter shitshow of a company wouldn’t be receiving reviews like this one.I’ve lived in my property for 9 months now. On Day 1 check-in we noticed the kitchen tap was broken. It’s 9 months later, the tap still doesn’t work. How is it even possible to be that incompetent and to have that little regard for your customers? Stirling Ackroyd you should hang your collective heads in shame. If you want this review to be taken down, fix my goddamn tap!!

GoogleSeth Branum was an absolute dream to work with. He was extremely professional and his communication was fantastic. Dealing with some very difficult solicitors he went above and beyond what we could have possibly expected from an estate agent and his hard work was a huge factor in allowing us to exchange and complete on our property in our preferred time-frame. I simply cannot recommend Seth, and Stirling Ackroyd as a whole, highly enough and would not hesitate to use their services again.

I rent my property out through Stirling Ackroyd. Being a first time landlord I didn't understand a few things on the contract. I ended up getting through to their head office where I spoke to Adnan in the Central team who was incredibly helpful in clearing up questions I had. He also helped me out with questions I generally had regarding building an investment portfolio. Highly knowledgeable and recommended.

Be very careful in renting a property through Stirling Ackroyd. Or as a landlord giving them your property to rent out. Despite being aware of a change in our circumstances, and a stellar payment record even throughout Covid when I had lost my job, they put up the rent by 20%. And now they are taking their time in refunding my security deposit. It has been 2 weeks without an update. They don't care about people. And they are not professional. Conduct business with them at your peril.

GoogleIf it was not for Alex Phillips at Stirling Ackroyd the purchase would not have happened! Earlier this month after years of looking for the right property I met Alex from Stirling Ackroyd. On that day I had viewed 15+ properties and this was the last one of the day. I knew as soon as I walked in this was the property I wanted. After an intense week of negotiation we came to deadlock and all hope died on the Friday night. The following Monday Alex put the deal back together and within 20 days the sale completed! As someone who is also in the industry I know how much effort and time goes into putting a deal together and the same again to take it through to completion. Thank you again Stirling Ackroyd and I would recommend Alex to anyone that is thinking of selling or needs advice on purchasing! #proactiveagent
