From the start, he really listened to what we were looking for, our needs, preferences, and budget, and quickly came back with a property that checked all the boxes. It was clear he’d put thought into matching us with something we’d actually love, which made the whole process feel personal, not just transactional. He arranged viewings smoothly and efficiently, never keeping us waiting, and was always on top of communication, quick to reply to questions, thorough in explaining details, and patient when we needed things clarified. What stood out most was his dedication: he went out of his way to make sure we understood every step, which was huge for first-time renters like us. Even though we ended up choosing another property that also felt like a great fit, the help he provided was invaluable, he made navigating the rental process less stressful and more straightforward. Awful company. Severe lack of professionalism and etiquette.

Awful company with a severe lack of professionalism and etiquette. We purchased a property through this agent, and their rudeness, constant threats, unprofessional emails, false accusations, and overall treatment of buyers are terrible. When raised with their area director, our email was ignored. In addition, their description of the property was inaccurate and they refused to hand over the keys on the day of completion, forcing us to go to the property and speak to the previous owners directly. I would never use or recommend this company. They turned what should have been an exciting period into a more stressful, anger-inducing experience. To add, they even contacted our estate agent and criticised us, the buyer, referring to us as liars. I have reported their actions to the Property Ombudsman.

Very impressed and highly recommend.

We sold our house via the Egham team last year. Mark, who is the Regional Manager, and Harry who was our Sales agent were both excellent, very professional. We had three valuations and Stirling gave us the highest of the three. Normally the advice is to not just go with the highest price, but Mark, Harry and Ben who came to see the house, all genuinely had such enthusiasm and confidence in finding us a buyer, we took the leap. They did not disappoint and we sold for just 5k under our asking price, far more than we expected. Harry kept in regular contact and always called me back if he was out of the office. If you are selling in the Egham area I would highly recommend Stirling Ackroyd over the other prominent agent in the area who did not even bother to to call us back after their much lower valuation.

She replies promptly to our emails and always has answers with our questions. All that we need fixing in our flat, she sorts it out immediately. Holding Deposit without reason

We were in a non-deposit scheme, and opted for leaving it. The company accepted our deposit, but at the end of the contract, they retained the money equivalent to as if we were to keep paying it. They recognize that it was a mistake, but after 3 months, there is no payment still. Every time we go there they say that they will solve it, but never happens.

I would say this is the worst agency in…

I would say this is the worst agency in my whole life with whom I have to deal. We rented an apartment 5months ago. The condition in which apartment was given to me was inhabitable. There was mould dampness all over the apartment. Inventory was not even provided as promised. There agent lied to us on so many levels, and when we raised complaints they were ignored as it was verbal discussion.

Sold and bought our properties with Stirling Ackroyd at the Egham branch,I really can’t praise them enough, from Day 1 Mark was at our property explaining everything in great detail. kind friendly and Very helpful. Then it was Harry who again was so helpful friendly that we dealt with mostly, very professional, he really was on the ball and nothing was too much trouble for him. He Mostly looked after us all the way through it .He was always willing to go above and beyond to help us in anyway.Every time I phoned I was greeted with a friendly and helpful approach.The sale of the property and the buying of our new property was made so much easier by having the trust in these guys. I have my property let through Stirling Ackroyd. I have been with the company a number of years. The past few years Sarah Jones has been my property manager and she has been outstanding. She always phones me to explain any issues and then keeps me updated until any issues are resolved. She had to deal with quite a big issue over a year ago and had to deal with the tenants on a daily basis for some time. She did so professionally and kept me updated every step of the way offering advice. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a 5 star property manager!

Everything with SA was so smooth. Sheldan Bechie​​​​, Letting Consultant was AMAZING! He was quick to arrange several viewings into one day, which is extremely helpful when you have a busy schedule. He drove us around and I was extremely happy when he found the perfect one. From that point onwards, the team's communication was great, with them arranging a call with the landlord and efficiently completing all the referencing and admin work within a week. Their online portal is easy to use and very helpful. The team kept me updated throughout. I can't recommend them enough.

Delays - Due to poor report

Having used Stirling Ackroyd to value our houses via MHBS, we would not recommend this company. It took their surveyor six attempts to write a satisfactory report for MHBS before funds were released, causing a long delay and issues with our New builders having to find other financial routes to keep our new build project going. There were no issues with the LTV but poorly written report caused delays
