We had a positive experience renting our flat with Newingtons in Marylebone. They were our second estate agent to try, and we found the process with them so much easier and less stressful. They were far from the 'estate agent stereotype' as you could get.Marco in particular offered helpful guidance, advice and support throughout. As expected, efficient sales team that treats you like royalty until you move in. Then your contact point becomes Sanam, who doesn’t even try to service the property and whose favourite mode of communication is unintelligible email rants full of typos. She’s mentioned by name in so many Google reviews that the fact she’s still around shows the management doesn’t care about client service. In my short time with them they have: 1/ taken over a month to replace an oven that wasn’t working when I moved in; 2/ replaced a shower head with pieces that were already rusty; 3/ left a locksmith bill unpaid (the concierge reached out to me); 4/ been litigious for the deposit only to agree to my terms once it was about to be transferred to the dispute resolution process of the DPS, a move that can only be interpreted as them thinking that they can put you under pressure if you need the money quickly. By a margin the most unprofessional letting agent I’ve ever encountered. There are plenty of respectable alternatives in the area where they operate.

GoogleI have dealt with this agency for 18 months and I have nothing but positive things to share. Their efficiency, kindness and their care about the tenants was beyond my expectation. They made my stay with my family in London very pleasant by helping us in finding the flat in a short amount of time, they helped us in solving all the issues with the land lord and finally made our departure process very smooth. I am deeply thankful to Sanam and Adam. I will recommend them to my friends when they relocate to London.

GoogleI have been a tenant of Newingtons for my 2 previous properties and have found their customer service and professionalism impeccable. When moving in on both occasions, there has been absolutely no issue and paired me up with two great apartments! They manage my second property and the washing machine began leaking recently, they had it fixed within the hour! Especially after I have had awful experiences dealing with landlords myself directly. Really great efficient service and lovely people. They really are there to help you and provide the best stress free service possible. I am now a very loyal customer and will use them for every one of my tenancies!

GoogleI was approached by a member of staff while opening the door to my home, which unbeknown to them had been marketed for sale by various other well known agencies. On the premise that it may have been a property which was either to let or for sale on the basis that it was standing empty at the time. They took the initiative to recommend their services to me, and whilst I was initially reluctant to have another agency market it, I eventually gave in to allowing them access and have never looked back. They proved extensive knowledge of the local property market enabling them to recommend a very competitive and realistic price as opposed to the unrealistic expectations placed by others, that wasted precious marketing time I didn't have to waste in trying to offload some of my investments. To attest to their consistent follow ups and keeping me up to date with viewings and feedback, I am now concluding a 3rd deal with them. I can only highly recommend their individual approach. So impressed. Well done for taking the initiative!

GoogleI thought I would spend 5 minutes to give some positive feedback for a change! Most people knock estate agents and not many actually take the time to leave a more positive review. I have just moved out of a 2 bedroom apartment in Marylebone high street which I rented through Newington’s estate for 18 months and I am pleased to say I have no complaints. Starting with the viewing, the lady who showed us around was friendly, knowledgeable and I could sense that nothing was too much to ask. We went through the usual references and moved in a couple of weeks after paying our fee. Over the next 18 months we rarely heard from them, which is generally a good sign! On the odd occasion where something did go wrong, a bit of a leak from the washing machine for example, they attended quickly and seemed to have a good team of professional reliable contractors, much better service than we received from another London based Property lettings company. We spent hours cleaning at the end of the tenancy which the guy who conducted the final inspection said he greatly appreciated. Our bond came back shortly after we provided them with our final bills, along with a letter thanking us for our custom and wishing us all the best for the future. This IS a company that went above and beyond in our instance so I am slightly surprised to have seen some of the comments online, although they do seem to have come predominately from students who perhaps are living away from home for the first time and are all new to the whole experience. I can only speak as I find and I found them to be an excellent company to recommend to any of my friends or family. Mr and Mrs Marler

Dear Masood Please could you contact me at max@newingtonestates.com or 07723550993 to discuss your rental. I have investigated your rental and can see that you were disappointed that the landlord requested a substantial increase to your rental post the covid pandemic. It is in our interest to keep our tenants in the same apartment, but we have no control over the rental increases requested by landlords. I can see from our emails that we did try to negotiate with your landlord, but as rental prices had increased substantially after covid, the landlord was adamant to obtain a large increase.
Where the same review appears twice we show it once. We leave out reviews that name another agent or another of the brand's offices.
