TERRIBLE EXPERIENCEAs owner I do not suggest at all KFH. They forgot to deduct from my statement the rent that a previous tenant had payed and to give me back the fees that I had payed to them. Instead to apologise for the mistake they refuse to take there responsability asking me and the tenant to solve the situation between us and even wanted the tenant, not them, to give me bavk the fees that they kept twice.In 32 years of renting the flat never happened such a unprofessional and really bad behaviour

GoogleI have been a happy tenant with KFH St John's Wood for the past 2 years. Their service has been exceptional; everyone on the staff has been professional and quick to address any inquiries. My experience living in a 1-bed flat has been very pleasant, and I highly recommend their services to anyone interested in this beautiful area. Currently, my flat is back on the market, and I have the pleasure of working with Jett. He is a kind and professional agent who is willing to go the extra mile for his customers, providing the best service possible.

Not a great experience to be honest although the people I dealt with were pleasant. I had to rewrite the sale particulars because the ones drafted by KFH were inaccurate, including as to very basic things like the position of local tube stops, number of bathrooms, car parking, floor plan, etc. I had to ask for external photos to be redone as they were taken from the block’s least favourable elevation. Subsequently there was a refusal to take my instructions as to the continued marketing of the property once an offer had been accepted and a failure to pass on to the prospective buyers certain conditions which attached to my acceptance of offer. All in all I thought KFH’s service and professionalism to be poor. In the other hand they found me a buyer so I am grateful for that. I instructed the Canada Water branch.

Estate agents get bad press but our experience with KFH in Brockley could not have been better. Gintare was professional, friendly, polite and helpful throughout. Her communication was outstanding and she made the purchase process smooth from start to finish.

Absolutely would not recommend renting through Farringdon branch. Letting agent does not care about anything including regulations, and will tell you to pay 6 months upfront before even writing up a contract. Will also selectively air your questions if she so pleases, and then blame you for not being quick enough when she springs it on you. I understand that it is a stressful market but the manner that things were dealt with cannot be justified, especially coming from a sales agent.

Profoundly dishonest. I wanted to break my lease. They agreed verbally. Months later, when all preparations had been made and when I was due to move out within days, they sent me a document in legalese saying that they had *now* received instructions from their client and were prepared to process a contract release *on condition* that I paid them £3,000+ in liquidated damages first - while they continued to hold my deposit. Of course, I refused to pay and there wasn’t much they could do about it. But it added a lot of unnecessary stress to what should have been a smooth and easy process. Estate agents. I have been a tenant and a landlord and I have seen the process from both sides. My experience is that if there is an opportunity to stiff the tenant - who is usually the party with less power - they will take it. My experience with KFH showed me that they are no different, despite the high ratings on this site.

They rented a flat for us, and they achieved a higher rental income pcm than the other agents estimate. Had it occupied very quickly and efficiently. One thing though. We lost all of that additional rental income in fees to KFH.

I applied for a mortagage on April 10th 2024 to Nationwide. This company requested a valuation to the unprofessional and irresponsible surveyors from Kinleigh, Folkard & Hayward (KFH). These so-called professional surveyors conducted an inspection on April 22nd. After more than a month they failed to deliver the report and refuse to provide any explanation as to what is going on. They give updates every 2-3 weeks usually requesting for unnecessary documents such as whether the flat has a balcony and this has to be provided using a specific format and signed by a specific person. Impossible to get and unnecessary as they did an inspection. I am about to lose the transaction as the seller wants to withdraw because of KFH. Thanks so much!
