From a landlord perspective, absolutely terrible. They picked contractors to do work which went wrong (plumbing leaks damaging my property). I replaced a shower and then a year later they told me it needed replacing again (no pushback to the contractor on my behalf). After a tenancy they started showing people round and only weeks later and having been advised to lower the rent did I discover the property had been left in a terrible state (they should have advised my after the first viewing). They also advised a tenant to change the locks (without informing me!) so at the end of the tenancy when I returned arriving late I couldn't enter and had to sleep in the car.

GoogleI cannot recommend this rental. They show no respect for tenants. Our confirmed move‑in date was suddenly delayed. While the house appeared clean on the surface, it was very dirty internally, and they refused to fix pre‑move‑in defects. Countless emails and phone calls brought no meaningful resolution. Old and broken appliances, poor hygiene, and highly unprofessional customer service.

I would like to see a big thank you to Chancellors Letting Agent south east management team. Dana to be precise - this is a thank you for all your hard work and patience. I would also like to say thank you to Maya, John, and Liberty. They always attend to my call and every issue I have at the Property. I have used different Letting agencies overtime but the experience I have had with Chancellors has been easy and seamless. Their communication level is clear, respectful, and very understanding. If you are looking at renting or buying a property go to Chancellors - the entire team are trustworthy and of great help.

GoogleExtremely frustrating service. I do not usually leave any sort of reviews but this one is worth a read for anyone considering renting with this agent. They have only been helpful during initial sales stage, HOWEVER as soon as we signed the contract, the responsiveness and service is no where to be found. They manage flat directly for tenants, meaning when things need to fixed we have to contact their property management who does an extremely poor job. We had multiple incidents where things need to be fixed in our flat, every time our emails and calls kept getting ignored for days (during opening hours) until we had to send multiple chasers and someone finally picked up with no sense of urgency etc. it generally feel like anything we need help with nobody is there to help, and it takes huge amount of effort from tenent side to even talk to them. I’ve been living in London for 5 years and used few different agent across London this is one of the most unprofessional, and I caution everyone who attempt to rent/buy via this particular agent.

Honestly, all the staff at Chancellors were fantastic and so so helpful throughout our selling process, but one agent in particular was just outstanding and that was Charlotte Morgan. Her communication and support was absolutely brilliant. Even out of the office, she made sure to always get back to us. Even during times of anxiety she made us feel so settled and would be so knowledgeable with all areas of the process. She completed the final viewing of the house and got us over the line! We will forever be grateful to her and the amount of client care she offered. To the team at Chancellors, we really appreciate your time and for helping us to move on to our forever home.
