A very positive experience and a bonus being dealt with by someone who knows their job. All staff we came in contact with were very polite and welcoming.

GoogleAfter facing homelessness in a very short amount of time, I rang S&SP absolutely desperate to find something in my price range and quick and the staff at S&SP were incredibly helpful especially Tomara. She found myself a property super quick and the ball rolling with the landlord immediately and I was accepted and moved in the same week. If it wasn’t for their help myself and my family would’ve been homeless. Thank you S&SP!

GoogleThe Letting side of this agent is diabolical. We bought a house with tenants in situ and so "inherited" these agents. There was no gas certificate, which is illegal, no deposit, no keys, even though in their own paperwork it states they need three sets cut! The rent was wrong for the two months we used them. They never answered our emails or returned our calls. Completely unprofessional. There is so much more, but i think this sums them up.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleDo not even deserve 1* I have been in the process of buying a property from safe and secure only to be mis lead at every turn. Viewed property and told probate was completed. Only to find after paying solicitor that they have not completed probate . Then given a date after date that has changed. Was hoping to be in in September. They then said beginning to middle November. Only to be now told they have no clue terrible communication and service!

GoogleHollie and Cathy were ace helping get my new home. However, several snags were not sorted including heating issues and doors not serviceable. Thier repair services leave a lot to desire. Would have given five stars if I could use the sitting room but no radiator working and door is unserviceable as it can it be shut as it has dropped. These items were reported on the 6th December and it is now the 22nd December so I am starting to get fed up

FacebookPoor experience with safe and secure properties , as the flat did not come fully furnished as advertised and represented.They were thoroughly unprofessional and often plain rude to me when I made very reasonable requests There was often contradicting information and promises, and then patronising responses when i followed anything. Overall, I must say that they were quite hopeless, as who and how they were contacting me was constantly changing, using multiple email addresses. also had to deal with an intermediary for the landlord, whose role was never explicitly stated and was highly suspect. I've never dealt with such uncooperative and unprofessional people, it was truly shocking.

GoogleWas hard to actually speak with someone to view the property. After I viewed it was really nice paid my deposit then heard absolutely nothing emails sent without reply. The reviews seem to be correct about this business. Asked for my deposit back and will go to the actually business address if not sent back. Absolutely shocking

GoogleHollie has been amazing from initial interaction to getting my property tenanted. I had my property with another letting agent for 5 months who unsuccessfully didn’t let my property . Within 4 weeks of instructing Hollie my property has been let out to a quality tenant and at a higher rent. Fantastic service from her and Tamara.

FacebookFabulous Estate Agent. My house wasn’t selling with another big well known company. They took over and we had so many viewings and finally sold it. All the team were so friendly and efficient. Special thanks to Jack for helping with the solicitors. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone!

FacebookAs a chain free, motivated buyer I found Safe & Secure to be the most helpful of the local agents I dealt with in my search. From initial phonecall to book a viewing they ensured I was fully registered and kept up to date with new listings/told about other properties that might suit. Lisa and Debbie kept me well informed of new properties that met my requirements. Cathy was very helpful with viewings - able to offer advice, knowledgeable about other sales in the area and booking appointments was always easy. After my offer was accepted Jack was great at keeping in touch and answering little queries via the vendor for me. As an ex estate agent myself I would definitely recommend them as a thorough agency from a buyer‘s perspective - especially when with others I couldn’t even get a call back! GoogleWorst experience ever! I would advise anyone renting to take a full video and pictures of the house when they move in, document any issues experienced and take pictures and videos before handing the keys over. Safe and secure will always look for a way not to pay back the initial deposit.

GoogleLiterally use any other company apart from this one! So unprofessional and it generally feels like they scam people out of money I phoned safe and secure and first spoke to Hollie she said that I would need a guarantor if I wanted to go ahead with the property so I explained to her about the false hope Cathy gave me. She said that doesn’t matter you still need a guarantor and I said well I’ll look for one but in reality I wouldn’t want to put anyone in that position Later that day my partner came back from work. I told him what happened on the phone and he decided to phone the estate agent himself. Hollie was still saying the same thing on the phone and said later in conversation that she would put us through to Cathy. Cathy said to us that she thought the landlord would be fine with it and then said that she would personally phone him up herself and ring us back the next day The following day (today) Cathy is out of the office all day so obviously can’t call us back so I asked to speak to the manager which is apparently the owner too (Lisa). Lisa is the rudest person I’ve ever spoke to! She’s so unprofessional and the way she talks to you is honestly disgusting! I asked for the holding deposit back and she said it’s used for reference fees. Since 1 June 2019 you can’t use the holding deposit as references fees and you can’t charge people for reference fees. I explained that on the phone and the response I got back was disgraceful. Well how about you get a part time job then and you would pass the reference checks. I said back do you know my circumstances? She replied I don’t need or want to know them. I said well you asked for them when you said what you just did. I’m currently bringing up my daughter and when she’s old enough to attend nursery then I will be going back to work. I’m a qualified care worker and financially at the moment it works out better if I stay home with my daughter instead of forking out for child care. Unfortunately we aren’t in the position to get support from family or friends. Her response back was don’t use that as an excuse because there’s plenty of people in this office that work and have kids. There’s MANY of other things this woman said on the phone that was absolutely disgusting! Do not use this company! They don’t give you back your holding deposit if you fail the application form and the estate agents that show you around the property give you false hope that you’ll pass the form. GoogleRented a house with these and honestly couldn’t of had a worse experience for moving out of my parents, 1 the house is dropping to bits and when we phone up to complain they promise to come put and fix everything but never do, they hid all the damages when we originally came to look at the property and the bits i pointed out i was told would be fixed before we moved in. They weren’t so if your looking to rent a property id go elsewhere because this is an absolute piss take

GoogleI cannot thank everyone at Safe and Secure enough. After having such a difficult experience with a few other letting agents, they exceeded everything I could have asked for. Kathy was so lovely when showing us around the property and Hollie made the application process so easy and she kept me up to speed with everything and explained the whole process. I’m so pleased I went with this company. Amazing.

GoogleHelpful, Professional, Contactable, Understanding. I can't really speak more highly of S&S. I have had some property issues and the whole team at S&S is my first phone number I call now. Lisa and Hollie have been excellent, the Maintenance Team especially Ross has been brilliant. Don't try dealing with any big brand property companies, deal with some people you can actually talk to.

GoogleTruly abysmal service throughout my tenancy - so bad that I only feel ready to really talk about it now more than six months later. S&S were consistently disorganised, so much so that an agent didn't even show up when I first came to view the property. And it was only after I moved in that it came to light how filthy the property really was - I was the first of a new batch of tenants and it took me twelve full days to clean the flat single-handedly. Despite this, S&S later carried out surprise inspections and threatened to charge tenants for professional cleaning, despite the property actually being significantly cleaner than when we moved in. Tenants reported all issues to Safe and Secure immediately and in good faith but almost none of these issues were addressed. There was a dishwasher with a circuit board literally hanging out of it with instructions that it could only be turned on with a plastic-handled screw-driver (they refused to even remove this as it would 'leave a gap'); cracks and damp in the kitchen walls; a broken washing machine it took them a full fortnight to address and replace with another second-hand model; and a bathroom light (not replaceable by tenants) that went un-replaced for more than three months - half our tenancy. I could go on but in short, I found S&S to be incredibly unprofessional and unscrupulous in their dealings with me, and I did not feel either Safe or Secure in their property.
