I met Connells estate after being disappointed by a different agency. Emma Lowey at Poole branch is just exceptional character, so dedicated and helpful and follow up till you are satisfied with fast response to mails and calls, very happy I did rent through them.

Surveyor came out house was untidy Tennant had been unwell, rushed in to hospital. Surveyor proceeded to gove his opinion on how bad the market was and it was a shame the house was untidy, and then valued it at 8k under what it was valued at 6mths previous shocking

This kind of forced commercial practice is disgusting, and furthermore it is highly illegal to force anybody to take a mortgage with them in order to have a chance to buy a house with Connells.

I'm happy with Connells service to me as Landlord. They deal with all and any small issues, and are in general very helpful. I have found them to be fast and efficient, contacting me quickly when an issue required fast action. I feel they have integrity and are honest, straight dealers.

Totally out of touch with property prices. Homebuyers report a waste of time and money. Report filled in incorrectly and looked like it had been made on someone's home computer. I suspect there is deliberate under valuation going on with this company. Do not use.

DO NOT USE THIS ESTATE AGENT. Very poor service, no effort in trying to sell my property and complete lack of communication. Tried to put several potential buyers off viewing my property saying the area is not a good selling point. Go elsewhere and use someone who wants to do an honest days work!

An utterly shocking service and we haven't even started to live in the property. None of the agents had ay idea of electricity,Gas ,water or parking arrangements for the property and when asked , we were simply met with a 'i don't know'.It has been an absolute nightmare dealing with Connells.

Very poor service. I am a independent landlord and have bought and sold 9 properties in the last 5 years and non have been handled so poorly as has been the case with Connells. What is worse is that they refuse to except any criticism or liability when things are obviously awry.

I have been trying to get a valuation on a property for 2 weeks, spoke to various different people , yet still not managed to get a survey arranged , I shall go elsewhere and not entertain this company again in the future. Shambles.

Despicable!!!I had no choice but to use them for my mortgage, as this was the lenders preferred surveyor.Over 3 months I waited for and EWS1 form. Once received, it was completed incorrectly so void.If you choose to use them. You only have yourself to blame.

UPDATEI took Connells to ARLA and they admitted lack of professional standard plus more compensation.Please ensure that you complain to the Property Ombudsman if you have gone through their complaints process.Useless incompetent companies do get struck off but only if we keep raising complaints to the TPO

I accepted a CASH offer over 4 months ago from a buyer (NO CHAIN) and unbelievably still haven't exchanged The communication/ lack of service from Connells and their recommended solicitor SHOOSMITHS has been shockingly poor.I wouldn't recommend either to anyone considering using their overpriced services (if you could even call them that).

Recent valuation was an absolute joke £15k below the agreed sale. The report shows "Comparable" three properties from the magic wheel and certainly NOT comparable. Likely to collapse the entire chain and shatter our buyers dreams of a new home.!!! Thanks very Much Connells!!

Their Sales branch is good but lettings is very poor and it would be advisable to stay clear of them if you are renting as they charge sky high fees and they will not help or care when you need your deposit returned. They work for the landlord not the tenant.
