Overall the service from Haart and Tony’s team was very professional. All the additional requirements such as the ECP, house photos…. were bought together well and were also very professional. Chris and the other team members who conducted the viewings were professional pleasant and considerate. The house was Marketed well and sold quickly. The one stumbling block was the constant delay after delay due to the second from bottom of the chain (only six houses in the chain and we were number four). I believe Tony tried his utmost to resolve the issues but appreciate there is little that can be done to resolve issues with intransigent and what appeared to be totally unprofessional and incompetent solicitors for those at the bottom of the chain. At times we were being informed weekly that exchange would be next week which was a little frustrating. I see this as part and parcel of the moving experience and as I say was not in any part to due Haart. Tony was always willing to go the extra mile such as negotiate a price for the house we were purchasing. So, now we have a completion date, the bad experiences of moving are pushed to the back of our minds and we are more than happy we proceeded and have completed.

Haart were very professional and all the staff I had contact with always did their best to get people through the door and get the sale through and also found them to be easy to get on with. Tony was particularly determined in what proved to be a rather difficult and stressful sale for both of us and though we didn't always see eye to eye he got the job done, which is all you can ask and was much appreciated. Tony and his staff did a great job and would definitely want them on my side.

My partner and I purchased our first home through WGC Haart. We saw this property last minute at the end of the day on Saturday and called the office, Anna Haponiuk answered. She was the most helpful, and even though her shift had just finished, she offered to show the property to us anyway. Very enthusiastic, knew about the property, not pushy and we both give her a 100% mark. We ended up making an offer and buying. Harry was also great who is a mortgage broker there and again is very knowledgeable. Tony was generally available if we needed to check progress. I would recommend however that a local conveyancer or solicitor is used for the transfer, rather than a firm in Leeds (to be reviewed seperately)

We would highly recommend the Welwyn Garden City branch of Haart. We have just purchased our first home and were really impressed by the team. Anna was excellent in helping us find exactly the house that we were looking for and then liaising with us through the offer process - really friendly and professional and easy to contact. I had a very limited time to find a place to live, I had the pleasure of working with Anna, Shumes and Tony from Haarts Estate Agents in Welwyn Garden City. Anna, showed me round the property, i found her to be very pleasant, patient, punctual, thorough and quite helpful, she answered every question honestly. I was in constant contact with Shumes all through the process, he is very kind, highly knowledgeable and professional from start to finish, he kept me informed and dealt with my enquiries swiftly and efficiently. Tony is approachable, courteous, fair and very flexible. We recently used haart Welwyn Garden City to sell our flat in Hertford and relocate to Norfolk. Tony was our main contact and was professional, experienced and confident throughout the entire process. Chris also worked closely with us and he was courteous, attentive, professional and maintained regular contact, giving timely updates to keep us informed and reassured. We had a couple of issues with our onward purchase (with a different estate agent) which Chris and Tony helped with even though it was not haart's responsibility, but their support was above and beyond and greatly appreciated. If Haart was the last estate agent on earth I would never do business with them again. Tony Mitchell is one of the most dishonest and nasty people I have ever encountered. We were strung along by Tony for over 2 months believing we would be completing on a property only to be let down at the last minute after lots of money invested in searches, survey etc. and Tony encouraged the seller to do this knowing full well we had just had a newborn baby and a 2 year old living in a tiny flat. If I was the owners I would not have him running one of my shops. I had heard negative things from friends at the start of dealing with him so I am not the only one with this opinion and I will make sure all of my friends around Welwyn and Hatfield are aware of my disgraceful treatment so they know to stay away.

Terrible agency - avoid at all costs. Offered little to no guidance throughout the the 6 months we were on the market with them. Communication was poor to non existent throughout. We had over 50 viewings on our property and many, if not all, were unqualified buyers - just a complete waste of our time. If you are looking for an agent to say all the nice things and stroke your ego about your property and offer no service or ability to sell - these are the guys for you. I can't understand the good reviews below, maybe we were unlucky, but the service we received was no way near the standard you'd expect of a national agency.

We've just bought a flat through Haarts in Welwyn Garden City. The process took a lot longer than we had hoped, but I don't think this was Haart's fault. Tony was always available on the phone, and did what he could to move the conveyancing process along. Charlie showed us round the property, and was very knowledgeable and helpful.
