I have spent the last 7 years having a working relationship with Goodchilds Telford, both as a landlord and as a seller. It all started when I was thinking of selling my house and Nick came to chat to me about it. He was head and shoulders above the other agents I saw as he listened to my situation and came up with a solution to, not only solve a short term problem, but also to set out an alternative plan for the future. Much more than just an agent after a sale! So I set off on a plan of buying a new house and renting out both my partner's house and my house. During the rental period, Nick and Connor have been, not only professional in their work but extremely approachable and friendly, with a common sense, can-do attitude to helping. An efficient tenant search found me a great tenant who was no trouble at all and, whenever any issues did arise, they were dealt with in a balanced and constructive manner. This year the time came for me to sell my property to help fund my retirement and again, Goodchilds were amazing with the way they dealt with the whole process from start to finish, obtaining me an excellent price for my property and a quick sale. Throughout the process they were there with advice where needed. I have just come off the phone from Nick and Connor to thank them personally and it feels like an end of an era. They almost feel like part of the family. I have no hesitation in recommending Goodchilds Telford for any lettings or sales purposes and am proud to say that, in my opinion, they are top of the pile. Where do I start as the buyer... 1. They didn't know the keys had been dropped off when I phoned asking what time I could pick them up. (This was on the day of completion....) 2. They didn't check that they had a full set. I've had to sort a locksmith out so that I can go from the Kitchen to the Utility room without going outside. 3. They switched the gas and electricity off at the mains and at the boiler (boiler now fails to ignite resulting in engineer being called out) and as the house was empty for 2 months, not the most welcoming when completing in Oct. 4. They didn't remove the sold board for over 6 weeks and I had to email to get them to remove it. Plus it blew over nearly hitting my car. In short. Not impressed.

I have worked with Goodchilds on a number of developments around wellington including The Walker College in Oakengates and The Mount. As as developer selling a number of units its great to have an agent that can manage all of them under one roof. Goodchilds have sold 28 units for us in the last 18 months which is over £3million worth of properties for us alone ! If you want a fast reliable service they are worth as call.
