GoogleMy experience with Richard James has been extremely disappointing. In my opinion, their approach to maintenance, especially long-standing issues, is unacceptable. The radiator problem in the property had been ongoing for years, and despite repeatedly raising it, it was never fixed during my tenancy.
Because of this, I couldn’t use an entire room throughout the winter. It was simply too cold to be in, which is ridiculous for a property I was paying full rent for.
What frustrates me most is thinking about the next tenants. I genuinely feel sorry for whoever moves in after me, because they will likely face the same issue and, based on my experience, probably won’t even be told about it beforehand.
Based on what I went through, I would not recommend renting through Richard James. You might find yourself with a lot more headache than anticipated with them.
